I appreciate that Honda’s approach is to not make the batteries huge, thus bringing the cost down! Of course you’ll take a hit on range by using smaller batteries but you’ll gain better driving dynamics as well.
⚠⚠ HONDA AND TOYOTA dragging their feet! reminds me of Ford and GM! Hyundai, Kia, BYD, Zeekr, Xpeng, is FAR AHEAD! ASIAN competition in a FREE MARKET IS RUTHLESS! USA is an old socialist economy with suicide protectionism, bailouts that only hurt consumers and US corp!
I'm a fan of cool new tech in general across many industries. That said I'm just not sure about what manufactures want to eventually get to...not just talking about Honda. For example, I still love a key of some sort. Like I might be okay with a credit card style key that you could just swipe the door to unlock/lock and maybe start. I actually love driving and always want to! Don't want the car to drive me and make decisions for me unless I want it to and set that up in the settings. The automotive future should be interesting. Thanks Kirk for providing the news and vids!
@@TheBreakfastLoverI think it could be the Acura version of the upcoming Prelude. Acura doesn’t exist in Japan, so maybe this is because the Prelude and this possible Acura version of it are going to be built in Japan for America. I still wonder how Honda is going to put a manual transmission in a hybrid with two electric motors. But the Integra Type S trademark was filed back in August 2021 and that car was eventually revealed in April 2023. It’s gonna be a while before we see the new RSX. Hopefully Honda sells both the Prelude and new Acura RSX in North America. Europe is already confirmed to get the Prelude.
is there a possibility that the trademark was just updated and therefore lists it as 'new'? I wouldn't be surprised if Honda continued its claim to names even after they're long gone.
So rad you got to go out then and experience this. But can’t lie I’m bummed they have yall nothing in regards to the prelude. They are really dragging the details out
Idk, something about that Accord EV looks interesting and less ugly, If they can make that thing an EV in the future so Honda can give it a redemption 😭
I'm getting old, the tech side is cool, innovation is cool and all but I don't want another cell phone like appliance. I don't mind that is an EV or any of that, I just don't want to subscribe for features, ads are going to be popping up on my dashboard going down the road, I'll need to pay monthly for a feature that is embedded within a cluster of features... That is where this is heading. It is very neat and innovating and I'm sure will be safer but in my eyes its a business model praying on the consumer... end rant
Sadly ,Honda EV is way behind game time against the top few chinese EV like Byd, Nio, Xpeng, Geely Holdings group etc.. they need to really catch up to the EV market.
Until HONDA or any Japanese car maker produce new battery chemistry for their upcoming electric or hybrid car , the Chinese car maker will dominate the EV or Hybrid car sector in the next upcoming years.
@@Aldeeezzy They pretend they don't want to. THEY JUST CAN'T CATCH UP! Just like Tesla...falling behind. They turn to fake marketing to stay in a coma state!
