I love my state of Kerala. but the truth is every state in India is unique and each can beat India's stereotype. goto Coorg for example. or nagaland. or andamans, or Kashmir, or odisha each with its own tapestry and experience to soak in
I am from North East India and this is the India that I am proud of calm, well mannered , beautiful not those bussling ill managed and overcrowded locations with ill mannered people 💕💕💕 LOVE from Tripura
Thanks for visiting Kerala. Explore Kerala again ❤ There are many hidden gems in Kerala. Best to visit after the monsoon rains from August to December.
India gets a bad rep for being dirty and chaotic because most tourists only visit the so called ‘golden triangle’ - Delhi, Jaipur and Agra. Tourists should completely avoid those places and visit the actual nice areas - Himachal, Jammu and Kashmir, Kerala, and the Northeast are mostly nice, and outskirts of other states are nice too. Basically avoid all big cities if you hate crowds and chaos and you should be fine
I'm from Jaipur, and yes it's very crowdy and a busy place but that does not mean that there is nothing to see here, we have got a lot of beautiful old monument here. Surely visit Jaipur to know more.
Ignore the mean comments. Nothing wrong with revealing the bad experiences. You don’t have to prove your credibility through video evidence. A lot of people in the comments wanna hear sugarcoated experience.
You must go to Kolukummali Tea Estate. It's the Highest Tea Estate in the world. A 3 hour super bumpy Jeep ride to the Top but absolutely worth it. I went there during the first week of Monsoon and I was "Walking in the clouds". The views are to die for. DO NOT MISS IT ! YOU WILL REGRET IT LATER IF YOU DON'T VISIT.
Absolutely love ur fromat. the grading, the editing. and that yearn for tht calm nature kinda thing hits right at home. please dont stop. The haters will hate but please dont get demotivated.
You should visit the states Uttarakhand, and Himachal Pradesh, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh since you love be in a calming places. Go to the hidden villages and avoid famous tourist spots. The village people are honest, loving, and friendly.
by the looks of it, seems like you came in Summar season. Should have visited in Monsoon or Winter season, the colour grade of whole Kerala goes from LUTS to processed video. And the temp in Monsoon and Winter is lot like 15-20 degrees.
Great editing.. I'm from the state of Kerala.. If hikes are your thing.. Here's some recommendations Vagamon, Vattavada, Kanthalloor and Chinnakanal. There's also similar hikes in Wayanad district. Coorg and Chikmagalur are two prominent hill stations in the neighbouring state of Karnataka.
@@OskarViking Hey please do visit Kodaikanal. I'm from Kerala and I visited the place. It was beautiful I stayed at a hotel called abhirami residence and I highly recommend food from the nearby hilltop restaurant. The hotel also has a cafeteria but hilltop restaurant is a more premium experience. You can eat corn roasted over coals on the streets as a snack. Be sure to check out Guna cave and many other beautiful places while you stay there. You can ride a boat on a nearby lake as well. Be careful with the chocolates cuz most of the times if you look carefully you can see flies in the glass cabinet where the chocolates are kept.
bro if you come to munnar don't miss kolukummalai. reach there at early morning. for avoid crowding go in working days. mon- to fri. it will be a great experience . above the clouds
Kerala tourism dept has to take notice , tea plantation workers asking tourist to leave . I dont think there is any private land there all are govt land leased to companies for cultivation alone. This is a new tendancy in munnar which has to be nipped at the bud .Domestic toursits must make compaints
better take precautions, who knows? new tourists who are not so well-mannered might end up destroying the garden which is also the workers' source of income
As a malayalee, Kerala is just a sight for my sore eyes. I was born there and it has this overlay of transcendental goodness that I crave for. Thanks for the video.
As you love nature 😍 it's good for me to recommend you some places as i am a freaking nature lover . Visit Northeast India most calm and beautiful places like Meghalaya it has mountain, jungle, waterfalls, natural hanging bridges , and most of the Northeastern states are mountainy , full of nature and the food is also different if you try or find local. And very noth India like Jammu and Kashmir, Shimla, Manali , Sikkim , Darjeeling. In the west you have desert ( i wont recommend this time of the year) , Goa, costal areas throughout India like Kerala, Tamilnadu, Odisha , West Bengal (but mostly coastal sides) you have so many national parks to choose from in almost every state. The beaches of Andaman and Nicobar and Laxwadeep islands.
Visit places like Uttarakhand, himachal, sikkim, Meghalaya and arunanchal these places are gem As someone from Uttarakhand visit places like 1) valley of flowers(world heritage site as well) 2) Kedarnath 3) Muktaswar 4) Auli Plz google the best seasons to visit the above mentioned places WELCOME TO HIMALAYAS
I don't know how you can plan it, but try to do Agastyaarkoodam peak in Kerala, if you love hiking. I've done it 4 times and I would still like to go one more time. Takes 2 to 3 days in total. They open the hike trail up for public only during March-April when the weather is kind.
I'm sorry oskar, forgive me for just having judgement inside, Blew my mind, Beautifully made💙, the voice, this film(: Wish you great luck 🍀✨ God bless✨

Bro if you want to see the best sunrise in munnar go to kolukkumalai... But problem is that there is only a jeep safari to there and its pretty expensive... I just went there we were 3 of them we just traveling with our bikes.. unfortunately because of expensive for only 3 of us.. we cant experience that.. if you can try it.. it will be good..♥️🫂
An hour away from kerala's capital city is ponmudi, its a mountain with around 22 hairpin bends, one bus to take you there and to come back. The place is pretty free and you can walk up to any point of the mountain except for the danger zones ofc 💀💀
ok so got your preference ....calm and peace....u should definitely try ladakh and leh ...u can go on a bike ride ..its just an another level of exprience and ...also u should try srinagar in jammu and kashmir ...and also north east part of country ...do some planning and then travel there ...otherwise u will be panicking if u travelling to our country without any planning ..even we do pre planning ...and most importantly..travel to india only in winter season
Many tourists n vloggers went there in Munnar at tea plantation, no one had a experience what u had , I mean I don't know .. u should have recorded exactly what the two people said to u ! 🤨
In life you have to experience everything. True travelers enjoy challenges its the vacationers that keep complaining that the world must change to accommodate them.
excellent vlog, but the comments of Keralites SHOCKED me. I myself am not from North India but Northeast India, even if we are basically ignored by central government majority of the time, we don't play pretend to be seperatists just because western media and Internet calls us Indians a myriad of different things. We look different, have different culture, and less polluted than probably both North and South India. The intention of this comment is not to insult anyone or to say my region is superior to you guys, but it is seriously lame seeing you guys jump boat just because of opinions of foreigners. We have our own seperatist group here called the Alpha and we consider them terrorists. Be better
Go to north east aka the "SEVEN SISTERS"....if you love nature/forests/waterfalls with a less hot weather...it's the place to visit...india is very very diverse in weather/terrain...from deserts to snowy mountains to rain forests you will find every terrain here...don't just go to overcrowded cities and claim "i have been to India and it's not good/overcrowded/overwhelming"!!!
Kerala is a beautiful place to visit. The whole state from North to South gives a hell lot of experience. Each state in India is the same Me as a malayali finds it difficult to stay in over crowded, endlessly honking places and states in India, it's frustrating even for us but if you exclude them. You can find absolute gem of places in india as well
Some states in India that have many close-to-Nature places: Himachal Pradesh Uttarakhand North-east India (Meghalaya, Sikkim, Darjeeling etc) Ladakh Kashmir And a lot of other places too but I don't know much so sorry! (I haven't been to south India yet, so I can't say much about that. South Indian bros do write your suggestions!)
Welcome to #southindia 3 hours 45 mins from my hometown #pollachi Town #coimbatore District.. I am an #AUSSIE #VICTORIAN who lived in Melbourne , Victoria- 2007 to 2019 returned on Nov 1 2019 before Unexpected Lockdown... Technically #tamil #southIndian.. Following your channel...
@@OskarViking Wayanad - somewhat like munnar with forests and tea plantations, waterfalls, lakes, adventure rides Trivandrum - famous for its beaches ( Varkala), Jadayu rock Kozhikode/Calicut - famous for its cuisine Ernakulam - There only, we have Fort Kochi, vibrant streets and beach with a colonial/Dutch touch Also other hidden waterfalls, lakes Alappuzha - famous for it's backwaters, houseboat And the list goes on... Each district has its own speciality as well as tourist attractions... These are a few of them...
