You are right about the coach. We been screaming this all year. When the coach lets Caitlin be Caitlin and run the offense, they thrive. When she takes the ball out of Caitlin's hands, slows things down, puts Caitlin in the corner, the team starts falling apart. She is not the right coach for a player like this. I believe they'd have at least 5 more wins right now with a good coach.
I and so many others agree ! Christie Sides needs to go. She commands NO respect and NO confidence from her players or the attendees/fans. Her players know she is leading them down the loosing path. The WNBA, the teams, the general managers, the coaches, and possibly the owners are exposing themselves. Exposing the corrupt and conspiring nature of the WNBA on the whole. They are ruining the game for the players and the fans. And if there was any conspiring to pad Angel Reese's double double numbers, isn't that the same as fixing the game ? Doesn't Vegas run odds on Caitlin or the WNBA ? Deceiving the public of their chances of winning a bet based on an honest game. FIRE Christie Sides = a CAREER LOSER !
Excellent points. At this point they know there's scrutiny so a commission should investigate. One unexpected consequence of the Clark Effect, Is A lot of the eyes on CC are from abroad, me included. The ghetto nature, the "politics", and a losing business model. Were all a surprise to how unprofessional the Wnba is.

But does seem crazy esp.after we all saw angel padding her score the other night with 6 seconds! I heard the Internet is eating her alive but hopefully others are speaking out like reports of the game as that was uncalled for. U NEVER see that crap. Disrespectful and all about ones EGO! And I like angel as a player . Unfortunately it's becoming less with the shenanigans like her applauding chennedy hip checking Caitlin. And now this and some of her comments and the tones. Sadly that's one reason why they NEED TO start & get the lead like they have done now in at least 2 games. Great game! Your perception of the coach is unsurprising, I saw her yank Caitlin by the arm at one point and I didn't like that at all. She needs to go for several reasons
I'm with you dude. We saw her play against the Liberty it was our first Fever game and the crowd had Liberty fans cheering Caitlin on sometimes too. Amazing team and the place was electric and loud.
Congrats, brother! Glad you got to see them play live. Coach Sides cares more about her ego than winning. She wants to be in control to take credit for every win and to blame her own team when she loses.
So glad you got to go to your 1st Fever game and experience the Clark Effect in person - what a difference just a few days makes, eh? Yeah, coaching is the #1 issue for this team - absolutely no excuse for a 30 pt lead to dwindle down to 4 pts in 8.5 minutes at home when you have mostly starters still playing, yet you have Clark (on a day that she was hot) not only playing off the ball a bunch, but not running many/any plays for her, and even having her basically just sit in a corner several times - an absolutely unacceptable, a fireable offense.
I went to the WNBA site to get a screen shot of the July schedule up to the break. What struck me was the right side of the screen: the betting. It almost like Sides is more concerned with the betting than the game. Who won what today in Vegas?

That was an awesome experience, the last time I saw that kind of reaction from the fans was with MJ, she's the female version of her, most popular not only in US but across the globe as well. The coach always do that not making play for her for the last shot, for crucial game.

I noticed that too in the 4th she stopped shooting and looked like she did it on purpose and her play style changed completely. It was almost like she wanted to see what her team could do without her. But yea someone told her to pass more or to shoot less .I was screaming shoot all quarter, went from watching and incredible performance to mad and disappointed even though they won.
Saw the televised game, and blew me away how did they blow a 30 point lead, and it whittled away. But not here to talk about the game, and I'm glad you were able to check out the game. Hopefully CC will realize that she has the power to force the issue with management and get them to get rid of the coach…if LeBron can do it so can she…hopefully by the time Olympic break comes around she is gone if not the GM got to go and if not it’s time for the owner to sell the team since he only sees the Fever and the Pacers as a tax write off and nothing more not realizing he just won the lottery with CC. There is a petition that you and others can sign online that is for the management to fire sides so everyone please sign and let everyone know about it as well.

I watched in utter disbelief as the thirty point lead disappeared in the same way that the huge lead disappeared the other day. Something ain't right, and it's not the players. Kudos to the dude that balanced all that stuff with his chin.
@@rayray-xs6xu Realistically, Sides thinks her "knowledge" of basketball overrides reality. She thinks basketball should be played in the traditional WNBA way, unwatchable. Let's go back to Iowa. CC took a team of absolute nobodies to two NCAA championship games. Without her, Iowa doesn't even make it into the tournament. Without Angel Reese, LSU is exactly the same. Lisa Bluder won because she changed the game to work around Caitlin Clark. Sides doesn't understand that and should be fired.

Watching you discover Caitlin Clark has been a joy. She's just getting started is the scary thing. Pretty good night for her, and Kelsey Mitchell had a great game too (#3 scorer in women's college ball history... I don't count Dyaisha Fair, whose game I love, but she played five years). Did I catch some boos from the crowd when they introduced the coach in the pregame? LOL. I don't know if Sides deserves as much flack as she gets, but I also think she's got a lot of growing to do and wasn't ready for this bright a spotlight or this wildly talented a star. If you’ll notice, whenever the so called coach puts in Erica Wheeler at point and moves CC to shooting guard, the Fever lead evaporates. Every single time. Here’s the crazy thing. Wheeler has the 7th highest salary in the WNBA. I’ve learned that you never ever take the ball out of Caitlin Clark’s hand.

Like someone said, “Just how many times this season will sides 'try to figure it out’ but not do it?” But she never defines what the “it” is. You all notice that? But there may be another reason: I think she’s trying to figure out how to lose without sports books finding out, to keep it on the downlow. A good way is to simply sideline Clark like bad Sides does, give the point to a less productive player, and turn the game into half court so that the apposing team catches up.

Clark only took one shot in the 4th quarter. And Mercury even switched to a zone defense, which Clark absolutely destroys. Glad you had a great time dude Edit- And to add, you got to witness Clark break more records. Most assists in a quarter. And now she's hit another milestone of 400 points, 100 rebounds, and 150 assists. You sure picked a good game to go to
Glad you made to your first game! I've been an Indiana basketball fan for years, but the love kind of faded until Caitlin Clark got drafted by the Fever. I live in the Philadelphia are, but we do not have a WNBA team yet. Even though the closest team to me is the New York Liberty I am a Indiana Fever Fan ! Caitlin Clark for Rookie of the Year !
