59 years old British white female... Never watched Basketball in my life... Saw one headline about this amazing player and clicked to watch... I'm hooked now for life. Bouncing like a baby when CC is playing, my son's think ive gone mad ... Nothing but respect for this young lady.
63 White male, never wanted to watch women's sports and especially this woke leftist thugish league, but CC is awesome and love Boston as well. I'm a new fan and so impressed w her and how much better women players have become!
Caitlin Clark, a WNBA rookie has recorded 350 points, 100 rebounds, and 150 assists and did it in 22 games. She also became the first WNBA rookie to record a triple-double while beating the number-one team. Caitlin Clark's gameplay and her contributions to the team are remarkable. How she passes to her teammates is noteworthy. She consistently maintains a positive attitude towards everyone. She makes shots from the logo in the WNBA.
@2216sammy CC was know for her 3-pointers not about her all around ability. the couch is only learning what CC is capable of doing. So Sides need to expand her couching of someone who no one has seen before
Oh yeah? But Angel Reese... Something something double double? No, wait... Rebounds? I don't remember, but for some reason Angel Reese is better? I think that's what we agreed on
Yeah she maintains a postive attitude towards everyone because they are all sacrificing their chance to have good stats so she can. No if only her fans can have a postitive attitude toward everyone.
When you said that watching basketball hasn't felt the same since Kobe. I agree 100%, until 2 years ago when I saw CC play. We went to see her in Atlanta. To see 70 to 7 year old women and MEN wearing her jersey and cheering like it's the Finals is magical. She brought the magic back, plain and simple. It's her ENERGY man!!!
Same for me Colby was a real hero. In fact that whole group was a hero, and they were also generous when they go for coffee after their exercises and stuff they believe huge tips to whoever was waiting on male or female, and they were always gentlemen.
@@billiestevens318 Ah 1 of "them", name calling is bullying, putting others down who offer a different opinion that you do not agree with does not make them "delusional". I am quite sane really, we probably would not see eye to eye about a few things but I would not call you delusional because we don't.
Caitlin Clark is the female version of Larry Bird with her ability to shoot, pass, court vision, & strong inside game. I am not saying that she is as good as Larry Bird (don't come at me--hahaha), but her future in the WBNA has no limits. She is a special young basketball star in the making.
Not only are her skills top shelf, she’s just a gear or two quicker than all the other WNBA players… period! They simply can’t keep up, and if they double team her, her teammates, when the get use to receiving her pinpoint passes, will have a field day scoring!
She is a terrific person as well as a magical B ball player ! I watched every game of hers in college . They hate her in the WNBA because she's eating their breakfast! Jealousy is a terrible thing . They triple teamer , double team her , pick her up at 3/4 court . You are watching the most exciting basket ball player on the planet . What she does for the fans is unreal . Signed autographs for two hours at a minor league baseball game in Iowa . The league is trying everything to destroy her and she keeps on coming! That's guts and tenacity !
@@imisstoronto3121 she's been quietly setting records becuz none of the commentators during the games even mentions them. Only the triple double thus far
NEVER watched basketball or the w and I saw her play once and now tune in every single game. She’s INCREDIBLE. I feel you on the fan boy part, I instantly have been hooked.
CC is #1 in scoring, and I think #2or3 in assists in Women's NCAA history and #1 in scoring in both men's & women's NCAA history. She is legit Steph/Magic combined with the 3 point shooting and the ridiculous passing.
at first I was stunned watching her play at Iowa, I wanted to see what the hype was all about then when I got home to watch more of her games when they aired it, I became a huge fan had to watch every time she was on television now she's playing professional ball I'm hooked she really isn't human
These here is why people love Cailtin. It ain't about race or nothing like that crap. This is about HOOPS! Here highlights are like NBA highlights. Name any WNBA player with the same exciting highlights as this. NONE! Just watch Taurasi or Aja. The only one I can think of that is similar is Maya Moore and that's Caitlin's idol. Caitlin is the truth!
I’ve been watching her journey for a few years now, and she really does keep getting better, and The Fever are getting better playing with her too. It’s been awesome to watch her rookie year so far!
Join us as Indiana Fever fans!! We welcome you! We also have Aaliyah Boston (#1 pick, ROTY last year, 2x all star), Kelsey Mitchell (#2 pick, 2x all star), NaLyssa Smith (#2 pick). Young team but now hitting their stride after a rough schedule to start the season. Just beat the #1 team in the league during Clarks triple double. Currently #7 ranked in the league (top 8 are playoff teams)
Angel is doing good living under the basket. Shooting 30% from 5 feet away, getting rebounds from her own misses. But she isn't electrifying like CC, no contest
Keep us updated on your CC journey... She is going to be the GOAT if she don't suffer a major injury. 🐐 Say a prayer for her, she is a blessing to the wnba & little girls everywhere. Listen to her reply to drama... she is all about the game... SHE FEEDS ZERO DRAMA! 💯 FOCUSED ON THE GAME! I LOVE IT! SHE REMINDS ME OF JORDAN! A TIME BEFORE PLAYERS WERE ACTIVISTS & DEMANDING YOU AGREE.
She's had a BB in her hands since a very young age but at 22 years old it comes natural. She has been practicing probably daily all her life so that is why it comes so natural to her. We've aven seen her practicing after her games and fans have gone. That's more than dedication that's a champion.
Yeah, the highlight reel of her recent triple-double performance was a showcase of balanced scoring, rebounding, assisting... When she's on fire like that, it leaves the opponents wondering what to do. She has so many options to hurt them.
One thing I've noticed about CC (and probably why the Fever started so slow and have built momentum as her and Aliyah Boston continue to work together) is that her pass game is unreal to the point that it's actually kind of too fast for the WNBA. But she's forcing her teammates to catch up to her speed, and once they're all there, the Fever is going to be quite the force.
in the W, her 3 hasn't been falling as much as in college probably due to tired legs. She's also facing some crazy defenses. But her dimes are crazy. Right now it's all about her dimes. She's got some work to do on defense and diversifying her offense but she's pretty incredible to watch.
Caitlyn Clark all time leading scorer in college for woman and men... that means she scored more than Jordan, Kobe, Curry, and anyone else you can think of in college.
@jimmyboy131 Imagine if he had a 3pt line back then... he was shooting from ANYWHERE and averaging 44 per game! What's even crazier is the fact that people say that they ONLY know her because of angel! All I have to say is don't look up her accolades... they're a mile long!
Your hooked for life bro.I never watch girls play before and I'm 74. I seen her in NCAA game in 23' score 41 and beat undefeated S.C. Can't stop watching her.One in a billion.Get to Gainbridge
Caitlin is amazing to watch, her passing and shooting is unmatched, and her basketball IQ is amazing. Watch her games all the way back to 8th grade, she is a natural. But my favorite thing about Caitlin is the fact that she could easily be like so many ego driven players with her skills. But she is so humble, team driven, and treats all her fans so well. She is the definition of role model for young girls.
I have been impressed with the pace she pushes the ball down the court . I know some people only think she brings 3 point shooting , but she is #3 all time in assists in college . And she is showing she can be a triple double threat , she had 2 other times already this season where she was only a rebound away from a triple double before finally getting it vs NY . Also , some try to say that Clark wasn't known until Reese waved her hand at her, taunting her , Clark was known well before that with all those deep three's she was taking .
Now playing in the W CC's opponents are not necessarily faster but definitely bigger and stronger. She doesn't make every shot and pass but her vision on the court is amazing and this is my favourite thing to watch. With high risk comes high reward! Rather than 3 pointers, what is mesmerising is her agility and her assists. You can see her thinking as she is running and passing. You should definitely catch up on her Fever games.
Caitlin Clark is getting better and better. The past five games, she has been averaging 11.6 assists, 7.4 rebounds, two steals, and 16.6 points. Crissy Sides is beginning to allow Caitlin to run & gun without restraining her. Wait until her scoring production goes up into the 20 point range. This team is about to explode! The only possibility they won't reach their potential is if Sides slows down the offense & alternates point guard positions. Keep Caitlin away from the 2-guard spot!!! This is going to be the All-American team. Caitlin, Boston & Mitchell are going to be unstoppable soon. Of course, there is a factual narrative of jealousy, vindictiveness & the desire by people to want her to fail. The white & black division they are trying to create is not working.
7:37 Caitlin is not just all time women's scorer in the Women's NCAA. She is the all time scorer PERIOD in the NCAA (Women AND Men)! Think about that....
To be fair, her college numbers are 4 years, pistol Pete Marovich set the original record in 3 years. CC is a great women's player, but she is not Pete Marovich.
@@brianbreckler9685 No one else has passed Pistol Pete in 3, 4, or 5 years in the 50 years since his college career. That's about 2.5 million D1 basketball players men and women, who had a chance to do it. Only one has scored more than Pistol Pete in their college career. And all while also leading the nation and being 3rd all time in assists.
@@MP-bk5sf that is not true, Marovich played at the LSU 1967-1970, and clearly college basketball was not segregated. He also played at a time when the 3 point shot didn't exist, nor did the shot clock. Point being CC earned her accolades, but it is not comparable to Marovich
@@Biggdoom344 I was late to the party as i didnt get into basketball til the mid 80s with jordan. Thats some high praise for CC and thats with her team mates not being able to handle many of her passes.
She’s doing all of this in the WNBA while being full court pressed and double teamed every single game 😄. Opposing coaches treat her like it’s their elimination game because she’s on another level lol.
Haters and racist commentators say all she has is the ability to shoot 3s. They obviously have not seen the video you watched. She can drive, pass and rebound as well. It is sad to see black folks hating her just because she is white and overshadowing the black players in the league. She is obviously skilled and they are not giving her credit for all around skills on the court. Plus, she has not talked bad about the other players even after all the cheap shots she has endured. What can you not like about her.
Like this gentleman here and myself..she has more black fans than haters. Unfortunately..what is being exposed is that there is a lot of black racist people too. As Chris Rock said in a funny way…” black people can actually be more racist because even racist white people like black athletes. You’ll never find a racist black person liking a white athlete..” He wasn’t lying 😮
Apparently CC223D is 1 of 997 rookies to the W when she got the 3D. Good luck getting tickets. The tickets for Fever are super expensive because she is super exciting. Last year the average attendance was around 4,000. This year sold out at over 15,000. She drew around 55,000 for an outdoor exhibition match.
BIG CC fan here... What really impresses me about CAITLIN is she's #3 all time assist leader in NCAA play. Not sure M/F? Either way I'm really impressed. I've watched more WNBA games 15 TO NBA 0. WHY? CC.
First time watching wnba. Had to see what all the hooplas about. Darn! Cc22 is a combo of magic and bird! Freaking amazing! I just might continue watching. She's amazing to watch!
Caitlin Clark got me looking at WNBA team standings now. Hope the Fever get to the playoffs. Didn"t even know that team existed until a couple of months ago
In her last Fever game against the league leading New York Liberty, the Fever won the game, and Clark became the first WNBA rookie to achieve a triple double.
Man his reaction to seeing Caitlin for the first time was hilarious. The thing about her is she's the complete package. I watched the triple double game. The Liberty was killing it. I thought for sure after she got the triple double the Fever would lose. If you don't bury CC and let her hang around she will kill you. Her passing was sick. Boston and Mitchell are really stepping up.
High basketball IQ. Cc does everything good Her passing is amazing . Great shooter She flat out makes her teammates better ,always 1 step ahead of everyone else
JB! You gotta go to Gainbridge Fieldhouse downtown. It's a beautiful facility. They've been selling out all year, around 17,000. You know that triple-double you mentioned? Caitlin got it in a victory over the number-one team in the league. It was a big upset. The Fever were the worst team last year, so they've improved this year to #6 in the power rankings as of today. I've been looking at videos from people who've flown to Indiana just to see Caitlin play. I saw a pic from another game which showed a woman from Mexico who came up with a custom-made jersey from her professional team with Caitlin's number on it.
And now you see why there is a legit Clark Effect - her play has led to her teams' games breaking many all-time records in attendance and tv ratings for both college and the WNBA. And here is Clark's most impressive collge stat, plus the most impressive thing she did in college imho (EDITED for a typo): - She is the only college player ever to rank in the top 50 all-time in both scoring and assists - and not just top 50, but she's #1 in scoring and #3 in assists. - She led her Iowa teams to back-to-back national championship games with much less talent than every single team they played from the Elite 8-onwards in both years. No team with such a talent gap/deficit had ever done that before. I can back all of this up with her all-time stats and rankings, plus player recruiting rankings/stars for everyone who played on all of her and those other aforementioned teams, bc I did all the research myself, but I've previously posted about this a bunch under her some of her college vids, plus I don't want to make this particular post an essay.
What she did in college was absolutely spectacular and was at the top of her game and ability in that league, what she’s doing in the WNBA is almost more impressive in how she’s figuring out what she has to do to get her team an identity and start winning, in the pros!! She inspires me.
Brother, I’m 71 and have never watched a WNBA game in my life…until I started following Caitlin Clark at Iowa. I’m an old Laker Fan. Elgin Baylor was my favorite player back then. From Los Angeles! Like you, I have lost my NBA thing…but I am DVRing the Fever 😂 to watch Caitlin Clark! 🤣 Hey…I really enjoyed your reaction! Great job!!! 👏 She sure makes it fun again!!!
You can watch a lot of CC on you tube. You got to watch the game against NY when she got the triple double and broke Lady Birds record for double double (pts and assists); or against Phoenix when she broke someone's ankle
She's a jaw-dropping game changer, just like Steph Curry was at Davidson. And much like Steph, Caitlin is a stand-up, class act human being. Her WNBA detractors are having a hard time explaining her success. It's taking a long time, but they're starting to get it. Watching Caitlin Clark play basketball is like watching The Warning play rock and roll live. You won't forget it.
I started watching Caitlin her Jr. year at Iowa. I got hooked and watched every Iowa game through her Sr. year. I became a Hawkeyes fan and actually a huge Big 10 fan. I'm a Rock Chalk Jayhawk fan from Kansas. I had never watched a single minute of a WNBA game until this year. I have watched every Indiana Fever game so far this season, including the pre-season.
This is why people love Caitlin. This is why I became a fan. Her haters try to say we only like her because she's white. I literally never thought about her race until haters started constantly bringing it up. They also say all she does is shoot 3s. As you can see in this video she's a 3 level scorer. She can score from anywhere, and she's a great passer. She's Steph Curry mixed with Bron and Steve Nash passing wise in my opinion. That's why we love her game. Haters are blind to that.
She's also the most heavily guarded player in the WNBA. They pick her up all 94 feet. She's the most doubled and triple teamed player as well. All this as a rookie because teams are so afraid of her cooking them. Even with how they guard her she is still 2nd in the WNBA in assist, and top 15 in scoring.
I heard the hype a few months ago and thought...eh...women's basketball is a joke. Perhaps it used to be pretty bad because I tried watching it years ago--it was embarrassing. Caitlin Clark has reminded me how much I used to love watching basketball back in the day. The WMBA has definitely improved from years ago, but Caitlin Clark is on another level. She reminds me of when Jordan came into the league in the 80s. He had plenty of haters back then, but look at his legacy. Caitlin is having a similar impact to Jordan, and I'm enjoying every moment of it.
Omg it is such a thrill to see someone do what they love and are so so talented at it! I don’t even need to like the sport - but I can appreciate dedication, talent and passion
Croatian dude here...i never watched WNBA in my life even NBA interested me last time Iverson was hot s...but i kept hearing about C.C. and decided to checked her out 15 games ago -since then I watched her every game!she's a national treasure and I can compare her style to Lionel Messi's.she plays for the team team mates and for the love of game where if she was more like Ronaldo she'd have much more records under the belt but...but thats what makes her so loved and amazing to watch...her passes are out of this world
Get your tickets early because CC causes sell outs and triple ticket prices. Teams relocate games vs the Fever to larger arenas. The Caitlin Effect ❤ never thought I’d be watching WNBA games 😂 heck after watching a Fever game I stayed tuned in to watch the next game too.
JB I hear you about Kobe and Gigi when I heard about that dreadful accident I went into shock, then tears. I put their names on my gym shoes. After several years I happened to find the WNBA but wasn't very impressed by their play. Then I found Caitlin and have been hooked on the women's game ever since. Glad to see another guy watching the Fever!! 😀
yeah I'm a BB fan who knew about the WNBA but seriously started watching after hearing about Clark. good news is that WNBA stuff is for real (especially their passing game - which I think is unique) some really good players in general, and discovered this amazing Angel Reese in the meantime. and btw, dude. nice to see you were GLUED to the screen.
I’m so envious of you living in Indianapolis how close is that? You have a doctor see Caitlin in person I was able to attend her first pro gsme against the Dallas Wings i. Pre Season arena was packed people had flown in from all over the country. It was like a freaking playoff environment. She’s just an exciting player to watch. I subscribe to your channel and will be looking fiorward to more Caitlin Clark!!!
Ohio here. I’m an NfL fan too, but this wnba is legit cool and is making this offseason go fast. Huge CC fan. Only rooted against her when she played my Buckeyes
