I like his content, but how he presents himself in his videos is not how he is in real life. I met him at the Safari Zone in Montreal, and he was super awkward and made me feel like I was bothering him. Definitely walked away from that experience feeling deflated.

I've just gotta say. I work across the street at a breakfast joint where Hoenn Tour was being held at, and every single guest that was a Pokemon Go player I had that day, were the most fun/polite/considerate group of people to serve! Me being a player and passionate about Pokemon, it just made me real happy seeing everyone from everywhere come in. You guys made my weekend as well as all my coworkers and I just wanted to say thank you! Made me proud to be part of the community!

Some people had to fly out and flights are expensive. Nick is lucky he only lives a few hours away. Nick goes to many of these events and already knows to expect system issues. The casual player doesn't.

I'm dissapointed that niantic changed the formula of the tour event so that there is an in person event (i didn't go thankfully) and then didn't add any kind of ticket for global players aswell and then messed up pretty much all of the saturday from what i've heard and then the compensation was just 6 raid passes. (also Hoenn is my favourite region so i would've happily payed the same price as before to get shiny boosts and all that for the global event

I wouldn't say that. The global is lacking some things (nothing too major) but niantic said only some pokemon will have shiny boost. The general theory is that your teams pokemon will be the only boosted shinies. Don't get excited

@Gavanator 'Only some pokemon will get the shiny boost' so just like the previous 2 tours then? Nothing new there 🤷 Also there is no spawns exclusive to either team. Whichever of the two teams finishes most research each hour determines which spawns appear for everyone 👍

@jakeberry5428 I know that the spawns are for everyone. I'm saying that if I'm on team ruby and ruby wins, then I'll get the shiny boost over people on team sapphire. Also, the other tours had everything shiny boosted. Which version you picked gave you a higher rate than normal.

I can guarentee that isnt the case Also you're objectively wrong regarding the 2nd bit, the shiny boosted pokemon for each previous tour was solely the group of 20 or so that came with each version

Something weird don't all Las Vegas Hoenn tour players noticed, newest update 20 players raid together in mega raid we can get around 200-250 mega energies but in primal raid Las Vegas recently 20 players raid together can get 80-90 primal raid very low amount primal energy compare with normal mega energy we normally obtained. Players need raid at least 5 times to get minimal amount of 400 primal to evolve kyorge or groudon to primal form. What is meant Niantic? !

I almost had a shiny latias during the tour, didn't get to go in person, but then I ran out of poke balls and had to leave it and I still have to try not to cry when I stand in that aisle at Target where I lost it

Glad you had a good time with your family. Like most I had issues with being able to play the game. I think they should offer up a make up day anywhere in the world to say the least. $6 for how much time and money is invested into this game/event is a slap in the face. Niantic should know better from 2017 by now

I was there Saturday and my phone kept freezing so sad my first time at an event had a bad experience just lots of frustration waiting for my phone to unfreeze or turn off back on wasted so much time but did get 6 shinies including a shiny Zangoose!

Honestly even with the constant being kicked out of raids and lag preventing me from doing half the Collection Challenges I was just happy to finally have a Go Fest be local to me as traveling isn't something I can often afford. Too late now but if you were looking for a certain shiny Spinda pattern all you had to do was complete all of them all at once spin the pokestop of the pattern you want and everything you claim will be of that pokestop pattern

I loved this video, but it pained me to see you wondering where Laitos is when you weren't even able to get it. You couldn't get Latios if you chose sapphire at the beginning instead of ruby.
