This was my first time going to the Atlanta Film Festival and I learned SO much!
I've always been an actor first and foremost, but I recently gained an interest in producing and creating my own content. My best friend Meghana is opening her own production company, and I was thrilled when she asked for my help! We want to submit to film festivals soon, so we decided to attend the Atlanta Film Festival. Producing is a big undertaking, and I still have a lot to learn. My favorite part was the Creative Conference, where I got to attend different panels that talked about different aspects of filmmaking (pitching, crowdfunding, film festival strategy, etc.) I also loved getting to see the accepted films- I left feeling so inspired!
