There are more than enough card games, but not nearly enough miniatures games. I appreciate you showing us some of the smaller vendors. I will definitely have to check out some of their stuff.

and i only filmed the good roads 😂 It was fun but extremely over stimulating we only spent about 3/4 of a day there in the end but managed to keep moving and see it all.

Loved the crooked dice store. A guy was really excited to see killer morris dancers. He said, I dont know when I'll need them but i know i will. It was so packed when i arrived. Completely missed rhe bags of second hand figures but so many interesting indie minis to chose from.

its a very cool model and being an alien, very easy to paint. only issue is the base is a bit too small for the size, so it tends to wobble and fall over. needs a larger base or a wider disk under the base.

Great video Max and some really cool finds there. The Games Expo looked huge, no wonder you were cream crackered [pub's always a good idea]. Thanks for promoting those companies, I'll be checking those minis for sure. Pirates plus Fantasy, Cutlass looks particularly interesting 👍

Thank you mate 🙂 It was the crowd that got me, for every regular size step you’d normally take you had to take five little ones to move with the horde. I’m glad I’ve found Cutlass it seems like a nice little refreshing skirmish game!

So many good stalls you shouted out. I was there on Saturday. My friend and I were overwhelmed with how much stuff and people were held within those halls. Its definitely ramped up since my previous Games Expo visit, back in 2019, when it was only in Hall 1 :P My haul was just some sprues from the 7th City Collectibles tables xD

Some things don’t change 😂 DEODORANT! Also something missing from Games Workshop Games Day in Derby in the 80s. Thanks for going to overcrowded queue fest so I don’t have to. It looks really cool but I couldn’t handle it! (What were the loos like? Asking for a friend without a large intestine…).

I have enjoyed conquest since it was first released. I love the fact that the company is making better and better models, And yes what is more cooler than an Orc riding a T-Rex???!!! I am glad you showcased smaller companies, Some of them are great and deserve the attention.

@@LizardofDoom I hope so too. I think MS Paints was saying that he and his content creator friends were coming with increasingly obscure way to reference Warhammer in their non-warhammer videos to get the algorithm to show their stuff. Not sure that's still the case though

I was at the Expo for the full 3 days, which allowed me to look through the trade halls and also get a few RPG sessions in. I've been a fan of Black Scorpion and Blue Giant/Atlantis Miniatures for a while - IIRC Blue Giant is the name the adopted when Atlantis Miniatures and the owner's other company (which sold STLs I think) merged. I asked about the Atlantis branding at the Expos and I think they said it was due to them not having banners sorted for Blue Giant yet, but I might have misheard. Their web presence is currently branded as Blue Giant though. My new game purchase this Expo was Carnevale, one of TTCombat's games. I am a big fan of skirmish games and Carnevale's horror-tinged 18th century Venice setting is really cool. Hopefully it'll take me less time to play a game than it is with Moonstone, a game I've had for some time now but have yet to paint up enough models to play. 😞

Carnevale is one of the best games out there. its the only game i have played where the 3d aspect actually works. you can (and will) have games where you are running over rooftops parkouring at each other while also trying to drown each other in the canals. Awesome game, ive got all the guild models painted up.

Unsure but Syrhopian wars seem pretty hot on their emails if you wanted to ask, also they do STL files so you could always get a local 3D printer to print some for you 🙂

I’ve used the alien xeno queen as my winged hive tyrant with abit of converting adding a pair of shooty arms it looks quite cool I believe.

As soon as you mentioned Moonstone I got distracted researching their minis. I have a nice little plan to entice the wife into mini gaming 🤣. Looks like you had a good time but I really don't envy you. I have had to attend many a convention at the NEC & totally hate the place & the conventions, there is a reason I live in the arse end of nowhere! 🤣. Hows the Warp build coming on?

Oh moonstone is the one for enticing a wife in to the hobby for sure 😂 Yeah the pure amount of people gave me sensory overload I have no idea how people were playing and learning by games in the middle of it all I couldn’t even remember my own name! The warp builds going, trying to find the next link in the chain before I put anything out on it but I’ve had two say no so far, I shall keep searching! 😂
