In this Video (precious metals silver) Raven went to the Coin Shop (coins) & THIS Happened Again! Raven shares some really cool local coin shop purchases. Raven was able to find some amazing coins on his most recent trip. There are some entry level coins and some really heavy hitters. A 1921 High Relief Peace Dollar, 1964 Peace Dollar Fantasy Coin (That was made from an original 90% Silver Peace Dollar), Some epic Mexican Silver Pesos from the early 1900's, Mexican Slabbed Libertad's, and much more! #silverstacking #coincollecting #coinshop #precious metals silver

Someone told me that Peace Dollars have Satin Fields so the don't Cartwheel like Morgan's.

There are very rare cases of 1921 and 1922 Peace Dollars that have a satin or matte like finish. They go for big bucks. But a MS/BU Peace dollar should have luster like any other silver coin in a high grade condition.

It's made by Daniel Carr of Moonlight Mint, its far from a genuine coin, but about as close as any of us mere mortals can get.

@Juan_Doooh I made sure to call it a fantasy coin in the video and in the description. Carr did use actual Peace Dollars. But you're right about it not being a real 1964 etc

Am I missing something here, by law is it illegal to own this coin in its original mint state minted by the U.S. government Mint .

They run about $350 to $400. He used an actual Peace dollar to make them. 1922 I believe was the year. Pretty darn cool for sure!

@@RavenHawkCoins⁠⁠⁠⁠ I’d have to say there are a few favorites there. The 1892 Barber dime, the 1921 Peace, the 1969 deep cameo Kennedy and finally the fantasy coin. But honestly, I wouldn’t call any of those coins undesirable.

On the 1964 Daniel Carr dollar, is there anything on it that states that it is a Carr piece? That looks so good, can you imagine if that were real?? I think you'd be having the Fed's knocking on your door, and maybe not politely. 🤪

Hey I just searched eBay and there are several of these 1964 peace silver dollar copies starting at $99.00.

@sailfly2869 not the same maker. Those are Bradbury mint and have a proof like finish. You can't get a Carr made one for that cheap. This is not a copy...it's made on an actual Peace dollar and called a fantasy coin. You can buy fake Peace Dollars for as little as $14 bucks all day long...it's not the same.

That was a 69 DCAM and proof coins before 71 didn't always have cameo. It was requested to have some coins that weren't so expensive thus the 40% ers.
