I Went To The Cook Out Southern 500 At Darlington Raceway! 

I have wanted to explore Nazareth Speedway. Loved that track. I don't know how true it is but I heard or read somewhere it was purchased and privately owned. Don't know if an explore would be possible but I'd love to try. Even if I have to resort to drone footage only, I'd love to try.

​@@WallieB26The last reported sale of the land was in 2016, which was supposed to be used as farming area, however the owner never did anything with the track. I last went in 2021, and when I went, there were so many open spots to enter the track with seemingly no attempt by the owner to secure any of the open areas. In fact, when you look up exploration videos from Nazareth, there's a large influx of them from around 2020-2022. I'd assume it's still very accessible. Inside the media center, and some of the other buildings, there's a ton of old programs and circulars from the late 90s-early 2000s from when the track closed, which I know you would love to take a look at. Only downside is that it's hard to find anything historic on the track surface itself, as most of the sponsor logos were either removed upon closure, or just faded through decay. The infield is overgrown with grass & trees, pretty much covering up the entire victory lane area. Still a fun place to explore nonetheless. Sad to see one of my favorite tracks, & one of the more unique tracks in NASCAR history so far gone. Next year marks 20 years since it's closure.

i must b old as i watched craven in new england for many years when he drove in the busch north series.
