Erika Duran Pastel goth and goth are not the same. Goth is the entire genre, pastel goth is a sub-category. When you say “I want a goth look” you are looking for Evanescence’s style. When you say “pastel goth” you’re thinking cute but scary like the baby metal
I started screaming at my phone when I saw her use liner on her lips. She had just used it on her eyes and then her lips! And with the next client she was probably going to use that same liner on their eyes as well! The contamination! The risk of infection! It genuinely made me scream.

Nothing annoys me more than when you go for a beauty treatment or hair treatment and they pressure you way too much, I spent an entire blow dry telling a guy 60 millions time NO I do not want it cutting. It was stressful.
same but i also hate it when they try to talk you out of things. like when i wanted to get a chin-length bob cut my hairdresser kept telling me about how i might not like it, how it's a very drastic change etc. etc. to the point where i was so intimidated i got a shoulder length one - well turns out i wasn't satisfied with the result, i still wanted my hair to be cut shorter and had to pay full price for a haircut that i would probably be getting again next week....
@@nichtswieeswar I feel you, a few years ago I wanted to cut my chest-length hair into a 'masculine' undercut pixie cut kind of style. I understand the fact that the hairdresser asked me if I was sure, but she proceeded to say things like 'what a waste' and the other hairdressers joined in. Then when I started going to a barber because they're more experienced in cutting short hair, the barber kept asking 'don't you want long hair to get all the guys?'

Yeah theres a lot of styles of "goth". Kinda reminds me of how my friend asked another friend of mine to do "goth" makeup for her. She was thinking something like the singer from pale waves lol. That " soft glamour goth" that is popular now. My other friend did very thick blunt kind of "metal goth" (idk actual goth style genres sorry) makeup and she was not happy.
"There's something in my eye.. I think it's a lash" Oh honey, no. Its the 4 ounces of foundation, concealer, and eyeliner that this woman embedded into your conjunctiva.
Goth makeup doesn't have to be completely dark. There's actually alot of bright colors commonly used, especially in the 80's when they'd use alot of red and orange for example. Which alot of people still do for that 80's look(me included) . Paired with black of course but it isn't just dark colors. It's more about placement and shapes. Not saying this turned out well though. 😅❤
Actually, true goths wouldn’t wear any color but white black and gray. Eighties and goth are two different things and although some used random colors the goth look mostly contained dark colors
Im literally crying. Its uneven, the blending was trash, the mascara was horrendous, the tools were dirty, she put eyeliner on her lips and bro idk i would rather die.
That's what goths do with there makeup to achieve thinner and arched eyebrows.. Yet this is nothing close to being goth.... It looks more like Halloween makeup :/
@NatNPR that's not true, actually not just hispanic people, ive seen English women put a different lip liner and different lipstick color, and Hispanic women don't do their eyebrows like that, I've seen many Hispanic women with a very natural eyebrow makeup

Right? I've watched other youtubers do this exact same challenge and they're so rude about it all. This one girl always whines when they blend to her neck even though comments ALWAYS tell her you're supposed to. Yet every time she throws a hissy fit about it. I love how polite Judy is.

When she drew that long light blue line along your cheekbone I had a visceral, uncontrollable reaction and I immediately leaned, not just my head, but my whole torso AWAY from the screen I'm watching on. I think fight or flight may have kicked in...
Tbh I don't find the idea of the goth makeup that bad with the colors and everything but the roughness and how aggressive she was...ugh. Also I screamed so loud when she curled your lashes AFTER the mascara. She could easily break them. I don't get how she got her license...if she even has one.
eh I do not really stand by what you are saying. A "normal" goth look IS dark and with a lot of black. If she wanted a more colourful Gothlook, she would have said something like Lolita-Goth or Pastel-Goth
I used to curl my lashes before mascara, but now I do it after and I find that it works better so 🤷🏼♀️🤷🏼♀️ don’t assume that your way is the best way, and my lashes don’t fall off, otherwise I wouldn’t be doing it

Are we just gonna ignore the fact that she used the actual mascara wand and not a disposable one. As a makeup artisit myself you should never reuse items like that on different clients. It should always be a new piece with every client

♡°Heidi°♡ clearly. Neither is every single style from the 80s, but gothic looks can draw inspiration from both of those examples so to say the look reminds them of Bowie and the 80s doesn’t imply the look isn’t goth, in fact it would likely lean more goth if it reminded them of those two examples.
we're doing this in goth world 😂 bc it's usually more tinted and stays on for longer than most of the black lipsticks 😉 but it's not what u expect from a mua 🤔
