The next time you go back to Bentong, I highly recommend that you visit Kechara Forest Retreat. It is the largest and most beautiful Tibetan Buddhist temple in Malaysia at 33 acres. Lots of tress and flowers. There you will find a animal sanctuary and a beautiful vegetarian cafe. The top attraction in Bentong town.

I miss bentong so much...i lived there since 2001 till 2018...kowpo is one of the legendary ice cream shop there...and the taste never change...only the price increase...back then i think the price for abc is only rm4...and there is makcik sell nasi lemak outside the shop...and the nasi lemak taste so good 😊

Bentong ginger is extra spicy. Most people cannot take that spicy level. Have to use small amounts only.

@iChang: I want to share with you some tips on removing the ginger skin. You don’t need to use knife to scrap off the ginger skin. You can use stainless steel teaspoon or any stainless steel spoon to scrap ginger skin off. It is safer and more effective. ❤

Morning ichang n jimmy I what to late you now come n try to eat Satay HJ Samuri is very popular at old stadium last station MRT to Kajang. They have a lot food not only satay, Nasi aym Mee hailam, Mee Bandong, any many more you have to try it...I recomend you to an join . I been HJ Samuri Satay every weekend day .
