this really brought me back. as a veteran LEGO Lifer (DirectorTrustyBenny or DTB for any of you that may remember me) i was screaming, jumping up and down out of my chair while watching this video. did not expect this to pop up on my youtube recommended, but i'm so glad it did. i have incredibly vivid memories of the excitement when i popped up on the top of the homepage, my photography gone viral, and talking to people via claimed chats. it's embarrassing to say but this was my first social media and most people didn't know about this second life of mine. i actually kept in touch with some of the friends i made for a good amount of time after the app died, but we fell out of touch (miss you guys). and yes, i definitely remember ACM, he was an absolute legend of a guy.
As a vet who served many years on lego life, making memes are the strat. Oh and don't forget about everyone having chats in the official lego posts because they allowed typing. Oh yea good old days
Wow I remember that lol. I used it 2018 ~ early 2020, before that phone died for good lol. Man that is a blast from the past, I remember the user clubs made in the set promotional video posts. I was quite the member of a promotional Sons of Garmadon comments club lol
I remember having lego life and that you could only write messages (not pre written ones) only on posts that lego made for some reason and so people used to claim them as their own “chat” and you could write with them.
I remember claiming my chat lol and I had so many arguments in that chat. Also I remember everybody would defend that girl “turtley” and if u said anything about her which was bad pyou’d be a fucking outcast
Man I remember posting lots of pictures of all my Lego sets when I was 7 or 8 with my mum's phone.... I had totally forgotten about it, you have given me a lot of nostalgia lol
Man I remember lego life. There was a really fleshed out art community there, like I remember a whole organization someone set up for old art requests. I'm honestly sad that some of my best friends on there I'll probably never see again, but I still keep in touch with a couple on other platforms. Lego life was awesome.
Bro i wish you werent in the Italian community, flooded by girls every time doing drama 💀😭 It was such flooded i was like the first boy to hit 1000 friends in there in the Italian community
They used to make Lego magazines where kids could make their builds and show them off by submitting their creations to the magazine. I created a sick mech thing I spent hours on and submitted it. Before the magazine came out to show it, they made this stupid app and the magazine was discontinued and I never saw my build in a magazine.
As somebody who used Lego life, I do confirm it was basically Twitter. I used a mini figure I'd call Tom, and to be honest it was fun to make posts about him. One time I decided to do a post where he'd open a bracelet kit, and obviously the moderators didn't let me show the box BC of the faces on it
I want lego to add hate options just imagine a 5 year old kid doing some goofy ah buildin and mispelling everything hoping to make a friend then someone comments “this just made my day worse” or “ew”
Dang, I feel old hearing about a community on Lego Life. I remember the good old days of Lego Gallery and all the creativity on there. Sucks that life has to replace it, but I’ll always remember those good times. Great video

Polymars = Yikes The reasons are 1. The voices between the two of them are literally the same, and if you don't want to believe it then just believe that polymars has a twin. 2. The hair structure of polymars when he reveals his face is similar to yikes pixel profile, which if you think about it is it 100000% intentional. 3. Polymars is inactive on his main for years and the date of creation for yikes is like a year after the account of polymars became Inactive, so I'll let you be the judge of whether or not that is coincidence or not.

I remember my week of Lego life “fame” back in 2019, I posted a picture of my unikitty figure watching the sunrise, after an hour it had 200 likes, and by the evening it was up to 1000 💀 it stayed up there for (I think) a week until that one kid that posted pictures of his Lego dog in different locations overtook me… my confidence was shattered for two days, that is until I resolved to *reuploading it as many times the app would let me.*

Can someone PLEASE explain to me how in the first clip (chronological of this video) of yikes building the Lego set, he's wearing a yellow wristband that says "Eastside Prom 2023", but then in a later clip within the Short of him building the Lego set, that Short was posted in 2022! IM SO LOST.
Lego life wouldn't claim the title of the least popular social media. Revolt Chat would probably get that title. Revolt is similar to Guilded and Discord but privacy focused.
