Quetz’s np is a reference to when the Mesoamerican deities came to be. When the asteroid that came to earth and killed the dinosaurs an alien bacteria was on the asteroid. They became the Mesoamerican Pantheon when they possessed animals and plants before moving to Humans creating them into the Gods and Goddesses of myth.
Fate Strange/Fake spoilers. Gugalanna was the divine bull of Sumerian mythology. Also, what's funny is that, Ishtar, in canon, lost Gugalanna to herself. The Fate Strange/Fake Ishtar jacked FGO Ishtar's bull.
@@hikarihakai1285It is the literal Venus 'when she uses her Noble Phantasm, she warps to Venus, then uses her Authority to fit the concept of the planet within her hand. She then stores this conceptual planet into Maanna, and fires it.'
@@Vid_21 you literally just debunk it yourself lmao "she warps to Venus, then uses her Authority to fit the (concept) of the planet within her hand. She then stores this (conceptual) planet into Maanna, and fires it." if she was to shoot the actual Venus that would make her stronger than an Ultimate One lol and all god on Earth have no authority over any actual planet because their authority are granted by Gaia which only control Earth and they aren't Ultimate One, they only have authority over it concept and name in the eye of human
@@Vid_21 it is only the concept as that quote said as no god on earth have any authority over any planet in the Nasuverse, only the Types/Ultimate One have the authority What Earth gods have is the authority granted by Gaia to govern the human world, they have power over a planet name and aspect of it but that is as far as it goes
I do love Quetz's NP, Chicxulub in the yucatan peninsula is the crater where the comet that wiped out the dinosaurs hit, it just so happens to be where her cultural centre is, or at least is given the further connection fate draws between the local religions. Fate lore also has the gods of that area being connected and arriving with the meteor which lets Quetz embody it once more. Her xmas version has a similar np that is worth checking out just for comedic effect. Yucatan regalo de navidad
The original Fate visual novel was epic in a literal sense, because it created a modern story based on ancient "Greek Epic" oral theatre. The Fate Grand Order timeline is epic because these stories are timeless and will keep surviving after we're all gone. They will *inspire* authors
Tiamat Character Design was also even more amazing as a original CG art version in the source Mobile Game imo. Tho FGOB Anime design does make her look alien too.
Lets just remember that on this episode that Quetz use the two noble phantasms, she only has less than half of her divinity, also since it is using a vessel, it is not possible to get her full power
-nerfed because of Servant vessel, like the vast majority of Servants -nerfed further by using a human vessel -nerfed even further by Merlin's bs -multiple NP tier defenses from Tiamat against her NP. Still the only one to harm Tiamat while she is unkillable and NOT in the underworld.
@@ssjokg4952 Wasn't the reason she was able to harm her because Quetz's NP is a direct conter to Tiamat? Tiamat is being counter by the concept that the NP represents, it being an attack that basically killed every living thing on the planet. Goddess of the planet vs Np that replicates a meteor that almost killed all life on it.
@@dai-f8u Not really. It almost did yes but with that logic Jing Ke would be able to kill anyone. Almost did isnt good enough. But main reason is that she isnt related Sumerian myth.
Funny thing about Gugulanna. The reason why it's gone in FGO is because the Ishtar in another Fate timeline, Fate/Strange Fake, stole it from her. So Ishtar can only really blame herself....sort of. lol
The planet Ishtar was using as a conceptual arrow in her Noble Phantasm was Venus, not Jupiter. She is a goddess of Venus. Spoiler about Fate/Strange Fake . . . . Fun fact: Gugalana was taken by a manifestation of Ishtar in the world of Fate/Strange Fake [which, as of writing this is little more than one week away from starting with the proper anime adaptaion... ]. And it is all that it was hyped up to. It is eating meteors used as weapons (powerful enough to destroy most of Anatica's ice shield) and nuclear missiles for breakfast [though the Ishtar who uses different host to manifest there scolds it that it might indigestion from that]. And all that happed because Ishtar made sure she would manifest when Gilgamesh and Enkidu are at the same place at the same time. And yes, Gugalana being taken out of the FGO timeline and used in the Strange Fake timeline was meta story that was coordinated by Kinoku Nasu (creator of the Nasuverse, the multiverse that Fate and pretty much all other Type Moon series take place in) to make sure Strange Fake's author Ryougo Narita (author of Baccano!, Durarara!! and a few other LN series) can use Gugalana in the story and for it have connections to FGO. Edit: It seems pople prefer comments like this to marked as spoiler, so I did that.
1:15 It was different alter(darkened) side of Ushiwaka that Tiamat's Primordial Mud bringed to the surface when transforming her into her offspring. She briefly expresses her feelings in the EP 16 and why she is acting like that. It was her real self, different side of her persona.
