I think they are overpriced everywhere, but just like with anything if you take the time to look, many times you find good stuff reasonably priced, the other day I went & there were a few Barbie and Bratz vehicles but I didn't get them, my phone had died so I couldn't check prices, when I got home & checked they were selling for a lot, I didn't check sold but still, next time I see anything Bratz or Barbie, I'm just getting it.

It seems as though both corporations (Target & Goodwill) are in bed with each other.

Agreed; at least around here, they sell things that can be had on Amazon & eBay for cheap and sometimes BRAND NEW...it's ridiculous.

Target has been "against reselling" for a long time. If you do retail or online arbitrage, this is common knowledge. Some stores even have policies to prevent the amount of a single item you can buy, if they "suspect" you're reselling. ... with that being said, the black mark across the upc is to prevent people from returning the item back to target after buying it at the local goodwill.

From the Target Website TOS - Target reserves the right to prohibit purchases of any merchandise to resellers. Resellers are defined as a company or an individual that purchases goods with the intention of selling them rather than using them

Is dry erase what we call a whiteboard marker in Australia? If so, whiteboard marker over the permanent ink, then wipe off with a paper towel, quite often works. I will always try that first before using eucalyptus oil. We don't have goo-gone? over here, shame because I had some sent over once and it was a great product

That was my thought. Here in Australia, our op shops can be quite shifty. Salvos, a few examples of stunts they have pulled: Jigsaw puzzles - they throw in random pieces to make them 'complete' Barbie dolls - they scratch off 'made in China' Board games & toys - same as jigsaws. Be careful & check thoroughly Just a few things that happened to me but left a bad taste in my mouth. I now check thoroughly before leaving the store, on the rare occasion I can find something reasonably priced. The biggest crime though is the volume of good stuff they throw out in their skip bin every day, all stuff they overprice and refuse to negotiate on, before sending to landfill. Disgraceful
