Thank you. I had seen other lyrics for this song on RU-vid, but yours make more sense. What is your take on the second verse? Does she mean she saw him as a "star" but he was only a reflection of what she wanted him to be, or that he made her feel like something she really isn't? I like the imagery, but I'm unclear on how it relates to a broken relationship.

I don't know if this is correct, but the way I see it is this: They feel there is no light in their world without that other person and yet the moon and stars are still light, so the sky is lying. (Btw I think it's supposed to be lying not light).

It's just the light from a star (the sun)...] :This refers to how the light of the moon is really just the light from the sun reflected off it. [Well, maybe that's way we are] : I guess this is saying one of them is the moon and their light is just a reflection of the other person's (the sun's) light.
