Jacob & Co watches are for the art. your not getting one so you can tell the time your getting one because where else are you going to find the solar system on your wrist? or a dragon fighting a tiger holding the earth? or a 16 cylinder engine remake to fit into a watch? also you have to keep in mind Jacob & Co is a jewelry brand that just so happens to make watches. they are technically not a watch brand.

Richard Mille's are for new rich people who are usually crypto millionaires or do shady business, not a great look status wise. Most well respected business owners still go for the high complication Pateks and AP Tourbillons etc...

I think they’ll eventually have a more refined and acceptable design that will be popular. I appreciate their creativity and the engineering that goes into their watches though.

if you look at watches like a stock instead of looking at it as artwork then no you wouldn’t want these watches. These watches lose value but are a great conversation starter, in the right room that watch can easily get your foot in the door for new business opportunities.

Exactly, he only comes at this from a dealers perspective not a watchmaking/horological lover’s perspective. Most people don’t collect watches to resell. That’s like saying “I can’t take BMW seriously as a car manufacturer because their cars lose their value after you purchase them.”

I'm don't condone replica or clone watches.. But for those astronomia pieces, GET A CLONE lol. Those prices he has for those watches are ridiculously expensive
