Typically for sponsors they prefer when you have big viewership outside of their game. Giving them a wider reach of exposure. Rather than promoting things to people who are already going to play that game. I've had my fair share of this with Square Enix personally.

@misbegotten3508 first off. Whoosh Second. If you think that healerstrike is actually having any impact on queues, well, I have a broken down bridge to sell ya. An expansion with 2 new dps classes on what was already a bloated queue towards dps? I've had a harder time finding tanks in most of my queues then healers.
I mean, dps and other classes have been whining and crying about class harmonization for years now. Healers complain, "that's stupid". The level of hypocrisy is breaking the meter. While I am a healer and displeased with how its been. I will continue to play it for now till i try out some classes at 100 see if I find something to switch to. Whether you found the idea of a strike stupid or not, it got people talking about it. Normally its quite quiet on that front. But I think people like this look fucking stupid when they cry about their classes being changed or skills being taken then shit on healers for complaining.

However the idea of the strike was the only thing that got anyone talking about it. So they won on that end.

Arthars said something interesting on a podcast last week where he said essentially the people who run these things might have their heads in the sand and don't know each and every person who is in the community.. Heck, Arthars didn't get initially invited and he went about by sending out seven emails to employees and got a single response after two weeks. Arthars’ content is so low effort, it’s literally just clips of him raiding using a camera from the year 2005. Maybe that’s why he was overlooked. Nobody is entitled to an invite and it’s only going to get more competitive. If their content was actually good they would get invites

Probably the wisest decision that could have been made. Personally, I burned out on Endwalker postgame, but decided to continue playing Dawntrail... In the end, I'm very devastated.
Good choice to have the break. 14 can run dry pretty quick, and over showing 14 content can be exhausting. Also keep going on that Ironman! hope to see little updates on it sprinkled in to your other vids as well
Ok, I know the video was bait, but keep in mind, Arthars has never gotten a media tour invite despite being one of the most well known raiders in the game. Drak didn't get an invite this year either, despite having gotten invites in the past. Not getting an invite to the media tour is NOT a comment on your content.

The healer stike is nonsense. Sure, some of the best raiders in the world did the first dungeon without a healer. So what? Most players don't have that level of dedication or skill, that doesn't mean there is a balance issue.

I wouldn't take it personally, they eventually just hit a hard limit on how many people they can handle at press events and have to make cuts. And I'm sure to some degree, those cuts are rather arbitrary.

You got me. But mainly because I subbed to your channel after the bozjan guide during the 1 month time during endwalker release. I was rather new myself and that is still one of the only guides I watched about ff14. Would have been nice to see you at the media tour. You usually make rather outstanding unique content.
