What amazed me was that he chose to be a highschool dropout thanks to NEST release a bunch of his clones around the world. Because of that, he became a wanderer and distance himself from his friend, family and girlfriend in order to protect them from the clones.

What's cool about Kyo.... He's not some "fuck you, i'm cool, i have a tragic backstory that hardened me to the core and filled me with hatred, all the ladies love me" type of anime guy but rather a normal guy with a cocky personality but great potential, seeing as he didn't have to train hard all his life to be in the same class as Terry and Ryo because he was born with incredible power, had he seriously trained instead of being a lazy bum he might have surpassed those two....

Ironically, he did train hard and serious... _when he was a wee babe (or kid),_ which might have cause him to be lazy but yeah... the only time where he put actual effort is ironically when he gets his ass kicked in pre-96 and KOF 99.... so makes you wonder, if Kyo have actually trained now instead of being a lazy bum, how strong and integral would he be to the plot of KOF? He’s already important (every plot line always comes at him) and really strong (proceeds to kill 2 demi gods) but... yeah

i like clones better but kyo still kool I got into kof through King Of Fighters Wings (K' Dash Ultimate In Wings was awesome), then got my first official KOF games King Of Fighters 11 Hehe... Moetaro?

I played KOF wing when I was a kid with my friends and never actually thought that it was actual game franchise. I thought that it was just an online flash game, then 2 years ago I discovered it and play KOF 98/2002UM, 13 and 14

SNK should think about making their characters cool again and believe in them instead of thinking that they're out of style for whatever retarded reason. I really hope they realized the complete fuck ups they made in XIV with that insult of a redesign and Shun'ei. I expect for XV to look like a real KOF game. And please, don't make me miss Masahiro Nonaka so much...

I remember that flash game back in school. I mean yeah Kyo’s cool and all but he’s not “throw my sun glasses at you and catch them with the power of zawarudo” K’ levels of cool. He started dressing better after he got out of highschool but i never liked his OG design
