When I'm late I brush my teeth, possibly put in my contacts, put on a really easy outfit of a skirt + T-shirt + tights, grab my makeup bag so I can fix up my face in the bus, put my hair in a ponytail, put on my coat, shoes and handbag and run out the door. This can be done in about 7 minutes - tried and tested multiple times :p Any skincare, makeup, hair styling, outfit planning, coffee or breakfast preparation has to go.

Yes! When I'm late I always do my makeup in the office - because of my super preparations (shower, teeth, clothes) I could be in work a few minutes early, barricade bathroom and emerge looking presentable (+doing makeup when you are one corridor away from work make me less stressful about time).

literally ALL the yourube es running late videos are longer if not the same as the regular morning routine videos. reality running late videos are putting on clothes and eating maybe breakfast and brushing two strokes in your hair. thecoconutlucie Honestly, when I'm running late, and that's even SUPER late, I would rather put on makeup than focus on my outfit. I'll wear something super simple and comfy and then have time to go into the bathroom and do at least concealer, brows, mascara, etc so I feel fresh and not like I look like I was late..

I remember when I was in highschool and I had classes at 7 am, I would wake up around 6 am wash my face, eat a sandwich while throwing some mascara and concealer, put on clothes and get on door at around 6.30. That's hurrying up, not what she does, putting on masks and etc etc.

no amount of dry shampoo can make my hair presentable enough to do anything other than a ponytail when it's dirty! Curly hair just turns into a lion's mane overnight. And don't even think of brushing it unless you want to have a frizz ball on your head.

my trick for my curly hair is to pin it up and use silk pillow covers and you have less friction which causes less frizz! Then in the morning i'll put just a small amount of any type of frizz cream and my curls look pretty good, not first day washed good; but pretty good considering what they could look like lol!

Caroline Norre I used to use hair oil after I washed my hair, but it didn't help much, my hair's still like lion's mane because of frizz, so I stopped using it. maybe I used it wrong???

Have you looked into washing your hair using only conditioner and not shampoo? That tends to help a lot for frizz and give a much more structured curl.

I have a tip for everyone about waking up. Get your phone somewhere where you can't reach it when you are in bed so you have to get up to hit snooze and also have another alarm one or two minutes later than the first one.

How to actually get ready when running EXTREMELY late: Brush teeth Splash water on your face and dry it Throw your hair in a bun/ponytail Get dressed Grab food and eat it on the way to school Do quick 2 minute makeup in your first period class/passing period if you must

When i'm late for school, I get up, brush my hair + teeth, (Put on some deodorant and perfume so I don't smell like shit), grab some comfortable clothes because I don't give a FUCCKKK, grab my bag and walk out the door. I don't have time to get my nails done, or put on a face mask, or make myself a gourmet breakfast. I would be a little more realistic is what i'm saying.

MissBella684573 can't speak for ChannelHMC, but i still do all those things... when i'm in a rush, my breakfast consists of a fruit or granola bar that i take with me on the go, i get dressed in yoga pants or a sweatshirt instead of boyfriend jeans and heels, and i wash my face, put on some lotion/moisturizer and head out the door. i don't put on multiple different make up products. i think the point she was trying to make was that this video wasn't realistic of what most people do when they are in a rush and it basically displayed a bunch of fancy products.

Priya Doshi MissBella684573 Yes, that was what I was saying. It is not realistic for a person who is in an honest rush. A quick pony or bun, throw on a pair of pants, top and shoes. Then grab a banana/granola bar as I run out the door. But NEVER a face mask. lol I use those while I relax in a bath, not for when I'm running late.

Caroline German I respect your opionion, because there are a lot of people who won't do this. Yet there are also the ones who judge their worth by their appearance, simply because they've grown up in a world where looks are, almost, everything. Where I live that's the most common idea, if you don't look "beautiful" your not worth a thing. My family and friends are a few of these people, and I myself have grown to, sadly, believe it as well.

Honestly if I'm in a hurry I'd rather skip all the makeup section (or maybe just apply concealer and mascara) more than skipping breakfast or eat in a hurry. Breakfast is your fuel for the day, so it's not a problem if you look a bit tired or not so preppy if you can still be energized and productive!

The other day I woke up at 7:21 when I had to be at work at 730! 😳 I literally peed, put on my contacts brushed my teeth wet my face with water put on moisturizer brushed my hair got dressed fed my cats and fish and was out the door within 7 minutes! Yes I was a few minutes late but I was proud of myself! Haha

When I'm running late (which is every day) I through on a sweatshirt, or an outfit I probably wore 2 days ago, I wash my face, put mascara, concealer, and a little powder on, eat like cereal, and like run out the door. I literally wake up like 30 mins before school starts.

To be honest I actually tried doing all these things when I was running late one day and 1) I was actually able to do all of it without being late and 2) I felt soooo much better throughout the day than I would if I just threw on some clothes and no makeup So I will definitely be continuing this! However not everyone can do all this without being even more late but for me I can and so can Ingrid so I definitely think this is one of those things that's just a personal thing like you really have to just see what works for you and go with it:)

I liked your "on the go" routine but honestly when I wake up late, I maybe only have like 30 minutes to work with. That means go to the bathroom, wash my face and teeth in 2 minutes, change my clothes, brush out my hair, get in the car and drive and get a cup of coffee. The one thing I will never sacrifice will be to brush my teeth and go get a cup of coffee somewhere. Now I realize you work with a lot of important people and my job could care less if I showed up without makeup.

having a facial scrub when you are late? it's get up wash face put on some BBcream eyeliner and gone. you take your time for primer and curl your eylelashes?? really want to see a actual fast and late routine. for the regular ppl out there, without 3 layers of something

Oh my! Ingrid's "Running Late Routine" is so much more calm and peaceful than mine. I'm usually running around CRAZY, throwing clothes around trying to find something to wear. (Nothing ever seems to match, or look good when I'm late!) I'd NEVER have time to apply a face mask. As for Makeup, I'm usually applying it as fast as I can (aka sloppily :/) I run out the door, and THINK about how I wish I had eaten something, look in the car mirror at my Makeup (wondering how it didn't look nearly as bad in the house!), and determine to get up earlier tomorrow... ~Gloss and Sparkle ♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥♡♥

IKR, sometimes you don't even have enough time for your skincare routine, let alone using a facial, if you manage to clean and moisturize it's already good lol. In my case makeup would be concealer, powder, mascara, blush and that's it.

this vid has several tips and u don't have to incorporate them all when u wake up late and have to rush out of the door, just see what suits u and use it, I agree with museunghost because honestly that is their job! you watch their vid's because you are interested in learning about beauty and fashion, I don't believe their videos represent their daily lives 24/7. they go to such lengths because its a job and they have to provide content for you to watch when u need a break from homework or whatever...

Sorry Ingrid, but it's not being late, it's being a tiny little bit not as on time as usual... :p A face mask, a full brow and face routine.. Most of the girls among us would put some tee shirt, a pair of jeans, some concealer here and there, some black liner and balm, grab a banana and be out the door ! Let's be real here lol Or you could have just taken some beauty stuff with you in your purse, good tip for late girls :)

i dont even have time for breakfast when i didnt wake up late! I jump out of bed brush my teeth get dressed hair in a bun do my makeup which consists of eyeliner mascara concealer and eyebrows and im out the door in 15 minutes! literally all school year I woke up at 8:30 and was out the door by 8:50!
