I would love that deck if the poor cats didn't have a corn...I love the artstyle, the backs, the cuteness...But the horn spoils it for me. Do you already have Jodorowsky's cat tarot deck? If you haven't, it's a majors only cat deck based on the Marseille, very cute. He created it when his cat (with whom he had a very long and special relation) died, as a gift to him, he said in an interview. Miawwww...

I do have the Jodorowsky deck and there's a video for it! And yeah, I generally don't go for cutesy-poo. If the post had been a discount on the deck, I honestly would have let it go by. But who am I to refuse a FREE one? Her Tarot of the Owls deck went that way as well, which I was not crazy about. But she's definitely staying true to form.

Amazon shows its release date as May 24, and it is available now. It is on my official Adorable Decks list--lol!

I really like this deck but the 10 of Swords was a deal breaker It just felt so jarring against the rest of the deck. Otherwise, so charming!

I totally get that. But considering that it represents devastation, ruin, and things that are, in a word, jarring--it certainly does its job!

@@TheZenWitch Agree. It absolutely does its job. Nothing wrong with the depiction. Personal preference entirely. With this deck, I was looking for an overall lighter, more whimsical vibe and it just pulls me out of that space. But objectively, it's a very apt representation. It should not deter people from picking this up. Absolutely a "me" issue.

Lovely deck, but I'm not a fan of unicorns. I don't quite understand why the author mixed a mystical animal with a real one. It's a pity, because it is so strange to me to see a cat with a corn in its head, that prevent me even to see it without feeling unpleasant. I love the pastel style, but I'm not likely to buy it because it doesn't suit me at all. I hope you enjoy it a lot.

Pamela Chen's other deck, the Tarot of Owls is the same. Rather than realistic owls, they are definitely in the realm of fantasy, which was a disappointment to me. I don't generally go for cutesy-poo decks either. I don't think I would have bought it, but I will ALWAYS accept a freebie!
