Homemade vegetable broth without chemicals: This is the best way to prepare it! Now I'm going to show you how I make my own vegetable broth. I cook without chemicals and unnatural additives! It's super easy and lasts all winter! This recipe is great for making soups or drinking. In order to achieve the best quality of homemade vegetable broth, it is best to use organic products, but of course this is not necessary. RECIPE AND INGREDIENTS:
1 leek.
Olive oil.
3 carrots.
Clean and cut.
1 onion. 2 garlic.
Don't forget to stir constantly.
1 radish. Mix.
Celery.
Parsely.
celery stalk.
Mix well.
Salt 80 gr. / 5-6 tablespoons.
Turmeric 10 gr. / 1 ​​tablespoon.
Cover with a lid and cook for 20 minutes.
Beat smooth with a mixer.
We put it in the fridge for 12 hours.
Cut into small cubes.
With these bouillon cubes you can prepare soups and other dishes in winter!
Portion cubes of vegetable broth are ready.

Mix in some flour or cornstarch after it's cooled and the "bouillon cubes" will thicken as well as flavor what ever you put them in.

Note: One ingredient is a “turnip” but the English translation says “radish.” I wouldn’t want to put in an enormous radish by mistake. 😊 This recipe looks great. I’m definitely going to make some of these healthy, additive-free bouillon cubes.

I don't quite understand why the offcuts of carrots, turnips etc. aren't used or better still, save the offcuts from meals made, freeze them until there are enough ingredients and then make bouillon.

Thank you for this recipe. I did try it, freezing on a lined cookie sheet. I then cut into squares, wrapped about 2/3 and put in ziploc bag in freezer. The other 1/3 I put in dehydrator and that worked out well too. I added onee to rice water as I was cooking for side dish with peas. Delious.

Looks awesome! My mum can’t eat garlic but it’s basically impossible to find any soup/stock product that doesn’t have garlic so I’m definitely going to make this for her to keep on hand!

Someone else has pointed out that what you call "radish" here is actually "TURNIP" in English. Also what you called plain "celery"--that knobby-looking ball, is "CELERIAC" or "CELERY ROOT". The celery "stalks" is accurate enough, although in that complete vegetable quantity, it could also be referred to as a "BUNCH OF CELERY". Please understand, this is no criticism of your excellent recipe here--merely a clarification of those vegetables in English. You are a wonderful cook, and your recipes are so well-depicted, I just wanted to clarify some English terms for you! Thank you for your beautiful work!
