it’s pretty cool i made a new build a lil bit ago and it’s in my career too pretty cool

I really wish the In-season tournement had something to do with the lottery tbh. 500k for the winning team and a cup? It would have been cool if it was held for teams outside the lottery and whoever won it would get their odds increased or a guarenteed top 5 pick or something. It would give the worse teams something to be competitive for. It could also give teams on the cusp a chance at their final piece for a championship team or the chance at a superstar. I always felt like the being in no mans land between like the 6th seed and 10th seed sucked, this would give those teams a chance at a top player to get them over the hump. It would also reward teams and GMs for building the right way imo. It feels like its a worthless reward right now. Who cares if a team wins a mid-season cup? Its not really a practical reward for teams who make hundreds of millions every year with billionaire owners and millionaire players. They needed it to make an impact at some point for the actual NBA season for people to care about it and I always thought the lottery could use some work. A team like Detroit, Atlanta, Utah or someone who might be a bit too good get a great pick without tanking and "resting" might opt to build for an in-season tournement, focus their attention there and get a top pick or increase their odds and accelerate their rebuild. IMO they really missed the mark. I dont think people will tune into it past this year (only because its new it might draw some extra viewers) but it needs a practical reward to have any effect on the NBA season for fans and maybe even teams/players to care.
