I mis-spoke 粗大ごみ (そだいごみ). I was saying そうだいごみ which is incorrect.

I really should have bought the paper copies. I bought the digital, and it's so tedious going back and forth in the chapters just to review a few words here and there. I'm still early in book one, and it's really good so far. I definitely have to buy the actual book, tho. Thanks for the content, George and Co!

Interesting that 前 can mean "in front of" or "before". You can also say "before" if you want to mean "in front of" in English, although it would say fancy. "I am before the school." "I stand before you." It would then be easier to picture 前 as just meaning "before", and whether it's in relation to space or time is up to context.

I know right!...again. First times I heard my daughter listening to AMSR, I was thinking no way this is for real a thing, and weirdly creepy with unusual sounfd too,...because when I was young and would have ever had a microphone in front of me, i would always just make NORMAL burp and fart sounds into it, as it should be.

@masayama1618 Год назад
Hi valentinursu. Unfortunately your japanese sentence has a mistake on grammar. When you use a transitive verb はる, the subject for the verb will be サイズステッカー. I think it's strange because サイズステッカー can't actions by it's self. So a natural verb form in japanese is passive form of はる. Thank yhou.

Ok, this is about the Pokémon charged attacks, and I know it-s been a while, but better late than never. So, I would only recommend to use the 3 charge attacks for online battles, and the big charge attacks (the long bar) on incursions, because with the last one you'll end up tanking to much damage in a fight where your opponent has shields.

I dropped the の in ミーティングの前 would that be weird or natural?
@japanesefromzero
@japanesefromzero Год назад
Yes. Consider it this. Is it okay to drop “the” from “before the meeting”? There are particular times where の isn’t used but it’s a standard grammar function to have の when using a noun before 前 (まえ). For verbs however the の would be wrong to have. 行く前 before going 食べる前 before eating
