If Sakurai and his team had had enough development time they could've given Harkinian his iconic Dinner Blaster, but alas, we'll have to wait for Smash Bros. 3 (if that ever happens)
@@rmat9023 #FreeMelee. That's why. Your EVO hypothesis is partially right, but I mostly said Melee because people were using Project Slippi to play Melee tournaments online at the height of the COVID-19 pandemic, and that was a BIG no-no in Nintendo's eyes. Not helping is their general attitude toward GameCube software save from the occasional remakes.

lol I forgot I made this mod. Melee modding was fun, might return to it someday but I got a lot of stuff to finish up first before I return to making meme fighters again.
@@TheStickCollector It's been 2+ years since I last worked on a melee modding project, but when I was starting I looked up a melee model importing tutorial from Bizzozeron on RU-vid. Regarding sound editing, it's more difficult but if you think you can do it, then I suggest visiting the smashboards website about melee modding. If I get the freetime, I'll make my own proper melee modding compendium someday but I'd have to really get back into it to get it done properly
I would honestly like to see some of the zelda cdi series's characters reappear in another zelda title, even if it's just as an Easter egg. I think it would be cool to see morshu or king hark again!
I remember when I unlocked him on the original GameCube for the first time. Very few had the skill to do it, and he remained largely unknown.......................
Maybe someone here can help me find an old video I want to rewatch. I think it was a Smash 4 Ganondorf compilation video that used the voice lines from the CD-I games for flavour. I just remember one moment where they played the line "Join me Link and I will make your face the greatest in Koridai or else you will die." The combination of the gameplay and the music actually made the line sound intimidating as the player synchronized the final word with a perfectly landed up tilt.
Even before imports, there was always a Melee modding community, as early as 2012 but it could be longer as there were skins created in 2010 and some hacks before that.
