@@LighthouseHorror I wouldn't believe the goat entity that the tower is dead. Chances are it just runs on special frequencies for some paranormal reason and the entity is trying to make it not run. So that people like the toll booth who need it will die. That would make this not a win on Evil's side but instead a continued win on good's.

I love how reasonable the list of rules here is at first glance. Most rule stories have rules that are wacky like nobody's business, but in this one the creepiest thing that calls attention is the knocks-on-door greeting rule and even then it could be skimmed over by someone who isn't looking out for the creepy factor.

Sunrise... I survived. It was touch and go for awhile. Opened up the door to find claw marks across the door and large dog tracks heading of into the trees. I learned my lesson to always follow the rules written in blood on the bathroom mirror, Sunday afternoon. Hope everyone else followed the rules and wasn't imprudent and incautious. Can't wait for the next Lighthouse Horror episode. The greatest channel and narrator bringing us the best content in the universe.

I don't know how many of you got this, but "the Caller" is probably Nyarlathothep. "The Great Calling" is calling out to Lovecraftian deities. Track 86 has wooden wind instruments, which sounds a lot like the pipe music that plays to keep Azathoth asleep. The caller is even said to become sleepy as it goes on, so it has an effect of putting old gods to sleep, though it probably affects Azathoth more and this is a side effect for Nyarlathothep. However, plot hole: Why would the Caller protect the DJ with his own rule of not opening the door for 2 knocks (seeing as he wrote the rules)? Maybe he was toying with him and just wanted to test him instead of killing him? Also, if my theory is true, wouldn't playing church music be dangerous for possibly awakening Azathoth?

I heard that they’ll take the calls and have them be recorded instead of live on air, then they’ll pick and choose which ones to play. So the call ins you hear on air are calls that took place a couple minutes ago, just long enough to be vetted and judged. Is that true? Never looked into it, but it made a lot of sense to me

I grew up in and around radio thanks to my dad. Odd employees, crazy callers, seeing things go from 8-tracks and 45’s to touch screens and server banks, and listening to Art Bell late night while fixing logs … ohhh yeah. Got a real kick out of this one. Nicely done. :D

I would love to have one of these strange jobs with weird rules to survive. Oh I almost forgot I did. I'm serious, I was a Louisiana State Special Officer in New Orleans during and after Hurricane Katrina and we did have rules to follow and one unit didn't. We had one officer attached to a National Guard unit and I will never forget the emergency assistance call my unit received and when we arrived their HumVee was abandoned along with all their weapons. We never found them. This was even reported on the news but it was never explained. We saw and encountered multiple paranormal entities. We even had fire fights with New Orleans Police that went corrupt. My unit did better than most as I'm Catholic and had learned quite a bit from a few priests I grew up with and went to church with. We were even briefed by the Arch Bishop of New Orleans. You don't have to believe me but it all happened. Also humans can be the biggest monsters and worse than the actual monsters.

So this was the station mentioned in the Toll Booth story, right? I remembered the rule where the symbols need to be traced as the Midnight Record is playing. Interesting! Also, I wonder if Ben returned the next shift and just played the worship songs to prevent all the evil stuff from happening? As usual, thanks for the amazing narration, LH! 😊

I like how your “shtick” to differentiate yourself from the other narrators is having yourself on camera while narrating, giving off a classic storyteller vibe in the process. Keep up the good work, Stephen. 😊

This was really good. I kept thinking how this would end. You're truly a very good storyteller, I can't wait for the next one. Great story. But I thought it was a little too short. Just a bit more buildup would have been nice. But thoroughly enjoyable. Loved the goats and the hippie cult.

I just listened to the Toll Booth video yesterday, my first time listening to vids from this channel and I geeked when the beginning said "Radio Harmony" there's LORE and it's giving Magnus Archives vibes and I can't wait to binge more stories 😍
