I worked 7 days a week for over 60 days and had finally some days off before I started a new job. The new job was also on the other end of BC so I had to travel from the north all the way down to the south to Nanaimo.
I flew from Fort St. John to Vancouver and took the ferry in one day to maximize my free time. I didn’t plan much and just booked a nice AirBnb. Luckily the weather was gorgeous so after one day on the couch I couldn’t resist and spend the rest of the time outdoors in the beautiful spring weather in Nanaimo. I did the waterfront walk and went to the Neck Point Park which added up to a 20 km walk that day.
I haven’t had the time to go to the hairdresser in Fort Nelson so I wanted to go in Nanaimo however I would not call it a success. I spend 25$ and it looks like before my visit. Perhaps it was a misunderstanding because I don’t know when to use the imperial system and when the Canadians use the metric system.
