The scouts are gonna still draft them anyway, especially since everyone knows what's important at the combine. They can still run those 4.3 40's at small Black schools and bench 225lbs 20 plus times. Blacks are the premier athletes in Basketball and Football. It's time players know their worth and take a collective stand. White QB's with NFL hopes would feel the impact as well. lol They wouldnt get a necessary preparation of the speed of the NFL game from both sides of the ball. The NBA was predominantly white once so the ABA was formed. People don't go to to those schools because they are really really really expensive. Like way more than state schools. His players have no power. But trust me his black players aren't feeling good about any of this. Past all the cuteness that well ensue at this point till the end of the season, I guarantee that next season Clemson sees a drop in black 4 and 5 star recruits and an increase in white 4 and 5 star recruits.

Perhaps, NCAA sports could continue if blacks self-segregated by going to historically black colleges and universities? BTW, I graduated from a historically black teacher's college. Had a great education. I wasn't trying to go to NFL Just wanted an affordable, good education

@@idrispalmer1304 You make a good point. Integrated schools will remain integrated because they include other minorities. HBCU would remain integrated. It would benefit HBCU for "blacks" to return. HBCU are/were good schools and produced leaders... and good athletes. However, I question the notion of sending kids to any school in the hope they become NFL players. Only 254 are drafted per season. There are 37,000 college football players.The minimum rookie contract is $435,000. A few big name stars eat up the salary cap. The average career is 3.4 years. Patents might as well buy lottery tickets.

Alabama had already begun integration with Wilbur Jackson who was not allowed to play because freshman were not then allowed. The following year, Alabama defeated USC. You miss the point. Race is a notion. It is not a medical or physical fact. Contrary to your suggestion, in the 1953 Orange Bowl, Alabama defeated Syracuse, an integrated team, 66-6.

Like your perfect. People are so un forgiving in society. He only goes into the places and homes of some the most poor hoods around to recruit these young men. He offers them a life changing opportunity with the potential to reach the NFL. He then does his best to guide these young men into adulthood. Yeah he makes money because he helps make money? Players should be paid I agree 100 percent with that. Nobody is perfect or just one thing. People are many things good and bad. Shannon makes millions because he has a funny voice and can catch footballs and he talks about injustice in 2020. His suit cost more than my car just saying man.

I listened to this live on SiriusXM and I agree with Shannon. To me, Dabo acts like Jerry Jones. Black players overwhelmingly make up your team but when they need you to stand with them these white coaches, players and “owners “ can’t rise to the occasion!
