Good Content ! I bought a i7 5930k around the end 2017 and im totally happy with it ^^ for me and my need it will last for more than 3y+. Now i bought a DS415+ from eBay just too storing and stream 4k Content on my TV( dont need Plex at all) , the DS415+ video from you is the reason way i found you videos btw. I paid 296€ for the DS415+ it's okay the synology stuff just dont drop in price like other tech stuff like im just to DAM xD For the i7 5930k i paid 194€ (at the end of 2017) But you got a big Deal with your i7 6950X D_D i will buy it too for the price ! Sorry for my bad English i never finish school in Germany i just learned it from youtube and english Content like yours.
If you need the 40 PCIe Lanes and not too high single core performance (for higher fps in games ) you can upgrade too a i7 6950X for productivity reason (3:11) i think.
