I love Iam! He’s a natural. From the moment his guitar broke, I think he grabbed American hearts! He’s not flashy or splashy - he’s just himself! I think the other finalists are extremely talented and will have awesome careers; but, I’d be surprised if Iam doesn’t become the American Idol!

What I like about this performance is how his storytelling draws you in and he adds just enough power to his vocals at the end to remind you that he’s very much a strong singer. That he didn’t need to sing powerfully the whole competition and yet get fans (and votes) speaks volumes about his storytelling ability.

He is genuine and when he sings he puts his heart into all of his music the young man wants to take his family back to Hawaii lets make this happen for him ❤❤❤ this grandma 👵 sees a star and a winner 🏆
