James Maynard Keenan front-lined Tool and A Perfect Circle and Puscifer all at the same time also, while Puscifer is considered more side project, Tool and APC have had major success separately.
Our own, Dave Gleeson - The Screaming Jets and The Angels (until recently). I’ve seen him front both bands at festival type gigs. He puts equal energy into both.
I Love Karnivool and Ian Kenny is in my top 10 favorite vocalists ! Biggest example of multi-bands singer for me is Mike Patton, he front-lined Faith No More and Mr Bungle at the same time, and had 1 million projects since (Tomahawk and Fantomas as the same time, Patton/Zorn, Peeping Tom, the EP with Dillinger Escape Plan, Dead Cross etc...)
Ben Gibbard is probably the only other I can think of with Postal Service and Death Cab, both bands that are touring this year. Great video, and I remember Tragic Delicate had a lot of strings, they were a cool band back in the day.
@@solitudeausmusic I just did a quick calc with Spotify monthly listeners, Birds of Tokyo have 3 times as many listeners than Karnivool. Death Cab for Cutie has 3 times as many listeners than The Postal Service. It's pretty close.
Even though I prefer Birds of Tokyo over Karnivool I'm a bit surprised that Ian was the lead singer of both bands Nice use of one list that Rick Beato made as well with Channel V for a bit of the footage used in the video
Corey Taylor from Slipknot and Stone Sour. Stone Sour was found even before Slipknot, but Slipknot always seems to had more density of touring and stuff. Even though, is not the best example. A lot of people came to Stone Sour from following Slipknot. And his fanbase is not comparable, but it is kind interesting.
