Ian, i've heard and read about one of the barricades at Rorke's Drift being built of "biscuit boxes". I surmise that these boxes were of a size & weight peculiar to the UK Army at the time, and were certainly not filled with chocolate creams, McVitie's Digestives or the like. Could you give us some details about the "biscuit boxes" such as would make them effective in use as barricade material.
