I think the Emperor could be dead, but Ian is the reason they brought him back. People just wanted to see him in Star Wars again.

the fact that ian is absolutely so just happy to be there and palpatine. ALSO a i like how every interview i watch with any actor they all make fun of George’s dialogue and his voice

One of the three best voices of all Star Wars movies. Ian, James Earl Jones, and Christopher Lee. I think Lee had the bect voice, and not just as a tribute to the late actor. But he also did Saruman.
