Sir Ian Mc Kellen was the actor I credit with my first realising I was gay. I knew his acting but when I saw an interview HD did for Stonewall and that was that.

Career awards are worst when the honored one only won a series of Oscar nominations. What they did to Richard Burton was horrible. Although his marriages and divorces with Lizzebuz may have been a reason.

No one knows that I'm afraid as the show wasn't continued. Sadly, cuz it was a brilliant sitcom.

Thespians, theatre actors are far different from tv and movie actors. No comparison.

Sir Derek Jacobi isn't gay, he remarried again, not long ago, to another woman and Sir Ian performed the ceremony. But Ian & Derek have been friends since early childhood.

Well they're old - 75 and 76. And I don't think the gay lifestyle makes for easy aging. But I do rather think they are sweet fellas inspite of it. 🌷

They're old, they are under bright studio lights and they aren't wearing stage make-up that you are used to seeing when they are acting.
