Ian's SAVAGE 521hp MK2 Focus RS! 

Proper car guy's car this is. No silly big wings, hanging front spoilers, silly ricer stickers all over the windows. Just a nice clean 500Hp hot hatch, top notch

That's exactly how a focus RS should look! He's modified that perfectly. Living life fast recently had one on his channel the polar opposite of this, just horrendous! This has restored my faith in modified cars

Priceless! 😂😂😂 Chavvy car for an old boy! 😂😂😂 As always, everyone has and is entitled to their opinions so it’s a real interesting read; and I respect that. The car might not be to everyone’s tastes; and to what modifications have been done. I do totally get keeping cars in their ‘original’ form. This is also what I love to see on ‘some’ other cars. I’m personally not keen on side skirt extensions, bigger bumpers etc. But it might be to others. I do feel you can never slate a/any car personally until you’ve personally been out in one or driven one. Unfortunately, when the engine let go, I had no option but to rebuild regarding spending etc to the engine. Yes, I could of gone just for a basic rebuild, but I thought f..k it. The engine certainly can’t get any worse! Let’s be different! Syvecs is really the way to go with these cars running conservative or considerable bhp in front wheel drive. You really can put the power down. I do drive ‘enthusiastically’ in it at the ‘right’ places. Obviously this was filmed on public roads. I just don’t constantly bounce it off the rev limiter. No engine can’t or won’t survive that in time. Certainly enjoyed a couple of trackdays in it though; as well as being at shows. I do keep it clean; but it’s also not just a garage queen. Yes. I am a true enthusiast, and cars are a real passion of mine. Resale value of the car doesn’t interest me in one bit. If it was, I would of left the car completely original. You can buy particular cars and lose over half the value in just three years! I really haven’t done to badly in this respect, especially at the generous price I got it for in the first place. But I appreciate everyone’s comments, and your never going to please everyone. But that isn’t really the point. It’s my car, modified to my taste and I love it. I did also wear a mask during filming but it constantly kept on and on fogging up. Lastly, Luke is an absolute legend and a genuinely awesome guy. Cheers Chap 😀

Good video, you don't see many of these cars around any more, which is a shame really, the smiles per miles is massive! I've owned my Mk2 RS for 9 years now and I absolutely love it, it never ceases to put a smile on my face :)

That is perfect, not a huge fan of these cars generally but he has it sitting perfect, really done well and subtle, nails it with the wheels and height. Love the essentially it’s fwd, well hmmm no it’s fwd like permanently 😆🤔

That's mint for a 93k shell. Hats off to the lad. I've gotba 400bhp ST and is a completely different car to the RS due to compression ratios. ST spools quicker but both amazing cars and this has has a fair bit spent on it indeed. One thing I will say is mate get that foot down... nowhere even nearly gave you the full experience lol.

very cool car cant beat the old 5 cylinder, hes built it properly and its nice to see someone who actually knows their car and hasnt just thrown a blank cheque at a company, not fan of the blue and yellow it doesnt go with the green that is all id change, shame ford didnt do black interior pastics though :(

Nearly bought one of these in this colour in 2011. Love the yamaha 5 cylinders in these. Loved them since volvo t5 r. These mk2 are rot boxes underneath though. I think its wreckless to modify these geniuses they will be a future classic without doubt

I prefer the mk3 rs then over these mk2 any day. Back in the days they did looks very nice and mean but beens we in 21 the look out of date to me and the mk3 u can do so much more like drift mode and four wheel drive where these are front wheel drive but good to see on on channel well done luck great video tho 👍👍👍

The only problem with these is it costs a fortune to tune , love a mk2 far better than than the British Gas van blue mk3🤦‍♂️

No Luke there where u wrong mate the mk2 is not faster then the mk3 is the mk3 kills over the mk2 bec of its four wheel drive system
