ian & The White Rapper Path 

I think the main issue is, Ian like others before him come into rap seeking to piggy back off the genre, get what they need then rebrand and disavow rap saying "that was never me" i.e. Post Malone etc and that's probably ly why people have issues with him. He looks how he does and is essentially only cosplaying for now till he gathers what he can and makes a mockery of it later. It's a very tired formula and too predictable at this point to not notice

I don’t really have a problem about the genre definitions you gave but I think Ian’s idm sounding music is closer to the more chill and lofi sound of hyperpop that artists like aldn, Quinn, and glaive. Great video! I just think it’s a little more accurate way to describe it

I really hope Ian doesn't go that path of abandoning ur sound and treating rap as lesser once you blow up
