At 21:45, shouldn't the Fair value of Bonds be deducted from the Fair value of the instrument to get the Fair value of the equity? As the fair value of liability can be measured reliably?

Incase of compound instruments, What if the option remains unexercised till the maturity of the Bonds Do we still need to account for $ 168,495 as additional paid capital??
