This remains some of the best playing ever loaded to RU-vid. Have been coming back to this for years. Bravo to you! PS- What year is your Ibanez Artist from? Thank you and cheers!
the guitar has stop tail bridge, you just remove it and mount stetsbar without any drilling. I sell the stetsbar because I bought 2nd guitar with floyd rose, and the tone of guitar with stetsbar became more brighter, than with fixed bridge
Hi, I don't remember which version it was, maybe stetsbar pro 2 (if I don't mistake). No drilling, no extra holes - simple remove tune-o-matic and install stetsbar. Now I bought 2nd guitar with Floyd Rose and I returned tune-o-matic bridge back on Ibanez Artist.
Thanks for the response. Just knowing I won't have to drill is a big relief. I thought maybe because the Ibanez AR tailpiece is different from a standard Gibson that you might have had to drill. Floyds just don't work for me, so I was considering the Stetsbar on one of my guitars - maybe my Artist. Your sound on this video made me think it worked well. (In other words I really liked your playing!!) Thanks again for the response.
Thank you Mark. The Stetsbar works very smooth and soft. I really enjoed playing it for a while. And the range of vibrato (down and up) is really wide. But be prepared - the tremolo can slightly change the tone of guitar. In my case the sound becomes more light and thinner (just a little bit) than the sound with standard fixed bridge. Later I sell this trem to the man with Gibson SG - and seems that he is happy with it.
Okay, again, good to know. My Ibanez Artist already has a very bright sound. Maybe it would work on a different guitar. From what you're saying though, tremolo-wise it's what I'm looking for - more Jeff Beck than Van Hales/Steve Vai stuff.
Hi, I love your playing, and your guitar, especially that custom pickguard! :) Did you have any problems mounting your stetsbar onto an Ibanez Artist? (I supposed it didn't have a cloud tailpiece, but tune-o-matic type?)
