Thank you for this comparison! I'm a huge JM fan and PRS tiny endorser. But AZES specwise is 95% of what I want from a modern superstrat with older guitar vibes. I have to try it myself!
If you're in the market for an amazing cheap Ibanez, get the AZ ES40. I got one and it's really impressive. I just looked online and as of today, the PRS is about £860, the Ibanez is around £270.
The PRS has the more "dark brown round " sound , The Ibanez is the more bright sound , with a higher thinner pitch , both beautiful in their own way but indeed very different , it is all about personal preference I guess ..................
in my ears, SE Silver Sky has more traditional sound and has more body on the sounds...but the sound difference aren't big as their price, Azes still do a good job... it also depends on the playability which one do you prefer
If you lisen for each pick up comparison, PRS SE Silversky sound and tone is more solid, warm and has good sustain. One thing also, bridge is single on Silversky SE, and hambucker on AZES. Maybe it will be more fair comparison if we compare with AZ premium series. not AZ essential series
How about the alter switch on the Azes? I have liked almost every AZES review for good tone, but compared to the PRS here, there is no doubth who is the winner. It's a different price league however I guess.
@@hut-rati That's great having both :) I'm currently deciding on my first strat style guitar, so checking the reviews and tone demo, obviously my budget will be lower, but appreciate your comparison.
@@LookieChannel the azes is my first strat. I bought a fender Japan modern strat afterwards but I still play the azes more. They really give you different tones.
