Wicked chops my friend ..my Ibanez JEM7V-WH should be arriving in the next 2 weeks. Can't wait for it to arrive. Super impressed with you playing ..you're amazing!
Liebe Sie! Danke für dieses Video!
I love this guitar, as does everyone else, but I have to mention on all these videos the Dynamics. I played it once at guitar center and the Dynamics were just amazing. Lightly plucking strings was as you expected but once you really plucked, it screamed. It's very clean and clear and something I wish my guitars could do.
The difference is very small. The woods are different, so the 7V sounds better clean. BUT the SFG has a more singing lead tone in the upper range. Fret job is a little better on the 7V. But really: It is just a Matter of Taste. Both guitars are great. But you should get the 7V AS WELL, not instead of the SFG :-)
Bernd Kiltz Thanks for the reply :-) Would love to have both, money is a bit of an issue unfortunately haha! I've been very impressed with the SFG, it's a really great guitar. Enjoyed watching your video of the 7v, you're a great player and also come across well. Hope you do a review of the SFG sometime too :-)
has been my dream too until two weeks ago.. found one ;) it's better than what you can figure out here altought the video is excellent (tnx bernard). the sustain is almost infinite. you got to learn how to fade out.. incredible. and on distorted, me coming from jackson soloist.. you know was afraid but it's even a couple of steps ahead. love it. nice & useful video
Hello congratulations for the video, really the most significant and complete. I have three questions: THE Jem 7v you use is a Japan Ibanez "TEAM CRAFT"? Which amplifier did you use? Valves or transistors? Thank you.
I am now playing Guitar since 6 years and I have an Ibanez RG521-BK . But it hasn't a Tremolo lever . Is this Guitar also a guitar for advanced/pro's ? Anwser in Englisch or German please
Hey Luca, you dont need a tremolo. Just if you want to imitate extreme stuff from Satriani/Vai or similar. I have about 14 Guitars and most do not have a trem
hi. you mentioned some times the ibanez at10 and its clean sound.... please make a full Demo of that guitar.... that is one i am very interested in.... hope to see you soon too. ..... with that demo .!
Guitarist question: Is this Jem W-neck profile ? I know that golden eighties early Jem's had them ? And yes ebony fretboard is excellent material for hammer and pull offs. I get migraine this fretboard. It is too confusing for me :). Some older Jems have dots on the fretboard, I like more the traditional marks. But nice review as always. And hello (or hallo in germany) from Finland. I am about to move not Germany but Austria Wien. Duolingo teaches me German language. I am now 25 % german ha ha.
+kipponi For the exact neck profile you will have to look at www.ibanez.com - it is different from the seafoam green one. Very confortable. As for the Fretboard: It is a very dark rosewood fretboard. They changed that some years ago from the ebony fretboard - still excellent for hammer pull tapping and all that Sh... :)
Bernd Kiltz Ok. Thanks. It looks a bit ebony it is so dark. Yeah when the note sparks fast it is excellent for tapping and all that... Ibanez not saying the neck profile but I think it is maybe U-profile. I have once Satriani guitar and it was thin C-profile. Too thin for me.
