Yeah but considering it’s 1100 bucks you might as well buy like a schecter hellraiser/hellraiser hybrid for that price. Has way better pickups and better build quality. Also the finish is a lot cooler.

I cannot stand the 2014ish era of Schecters and I never looked back. The neck was absolutely massive vs Ibanez and overall I didn't like it. The new Schecters have caught my eye but haven't had my hands on one. Have they made improvements? I saw some fancy new woods and finishes recently.

Its the guitar sound buddy, the pups are deffo not as clear as my dimarzio but some people love that. Horses for courses. 🧟‍♂️

Dont let this guy fool you. He couldn't even pronounce the wood the guitar was made of. It's the amp settings and overall audio recording settings. Active ceramic pickups are compressed and sound great when you tweak the amp to compensate for the higher output and the dynamic shifts of the active pups frequency response. It depends on your amp and setup to get the sound you desire.It also doesnt help that he used digital amp sim software. That, mixed with youtube compression, cell phone speakers, clipping nasty sounds galore for his tone. I speak as an owner of this guitar, it's fantastic and sounds great on real tube amps, I've used it on a peavey 5150, mesa dual rec, and a laney irt120.

I have toured this guitar and love it, thanks for pointing out why this video might sound harsh and also your opinion on it. Real world feedback by real people us what i and this channel is all about.

Thats a good question, i didnt look into that mate and on looking at it it appears to have adjustment screws, so i would say yes it does have that option. 🧟‍♂️

@@PaulGlover Thank goodness! If I'm not mistaken, on the 6 string version they are fixed, and that limits a bit the potential of these powerful (maybe sometimes too powerful) pickups. When you have time, can you check it if it's like that for sure? Thanks!

@@antonioalbino8896 all the versions can be adjusted with the screws up or down. Otherwise youd never be able to uninstall or install them in the first place.

@@antonioalbino8896 Yes, they can be adjusted. To add to what Brad Hargis above me said: Literally every electric guitar pickup in any guitar can be adjusted with screws. That's how pickups are installed into guitars in the first place. If you couldn't lower/raise them, you couldn't install them, basically (of course, there are exceptions like piezo pickups, that are usually build into or under the bridge). How did the thought, that these pickups might not be height-adjustable even cross your mind, my man? I'm not trying to be mean, I'm honestly curious.
