Wil's a big fan of Ibanez basses, so we recently had them pop into the studio and showcase the SR1355B Premium, a brand new addition to the Sound Gear (SR) series for 2023. Featuring a beautifully crafted maple, walnut, panga panga and African mahogany body, the SR1355B has a stunning look, which when combined with the Nordstrand big single pickups and Ibanez electronics, makes for a incredibly versatile instrument.
For this demo, Wil's playing straight into a Darkglass Microtubes 900 v2 amplifier, utilizing the onboard cabinet IR for recording. This amp's a fantastic and versatile Class D amplifier with 2 onboard drive flavours that can be blended in to the clean signal.
