Thank you so much for this high quality sound demo. I love the color, but was skeptical about the pickups (and everything else I could find had drive/distortion on it). This helps a lot.
This is the only Fishman-equipped bass I've heard so far that I've liked. Other applications sound way too sterile, almost like MIDI Bass. Maybe it's the different 3 band EQ Ibanez is using?
This is a light multi scale though. You get some of the benefits of better tension and even timbre but none of the playability or string choice limitations of the full fan.
