I have TSA 30 Head with external Cab and can't believe how great this sounds. Best amp I have had Fender 65 DR included. The Fender amps all popped and snapped without warming up, totally wrecked my ears. This gets loud but is gentle and can make great tone at low volumes.
My car kicked and backfired, so I bought a different brand...Never entered my mind something might be wrong with it, I just figured they built that model to do that.
Diego Zordan, I can't reply on your comment so I do it this way. If you keep the gain low (around 9 o clock or less) and the volume up, there is a good amount of (clean) headroom for a 30W amp. If you increase the gain this amp will start to break up easy in more distorted sound (which sounds pretty nice) and you loose the headroom.
I wish you would have run the amp gain all the way up then crank the Tube Screamer to see how much Gain the combination of amp and TS could put out together!! I can't find one demo of this amps gain cranked and TS run from low to high to see if its capable of Marshall style tones!!
In that last setting you had with tube screamer and boost I heard Jimi Hendricks loud and clear. Or maybe a little Stevie Ray Vaughn. Sounds real nice.
I wonder if this amp can be used both in your bedroom and in a little show...I mean, by using the volume knob, you can turn down the master volume but keeping the saturated tone provided by the tubes??? thnks
I didn't get to hear if it will chug...turn the gain and volume all the way up and the same for the Tube Screamer...max it out man...CHUG CHUG F*CKING CHUG...
+Martin Abouttone yeah, he has an amazing voice. And he still has it now, after 50 years of rocking. He's old, but he sings. And this is what amazes me. I was on a Scorpions show. My imagination of 70 years old people just broke down, because no one stood still, all 4 of them were running (James was obviously sitting), and no sloppiness, false notes. Nothing. I don't know, if there was autotune, but I don't think so.
