After only 6 years of her busy and accomplished existence, Sophia recently made a HUGE announcement about her amazing future. Her new next level advanced version will be Project RIA to be produced by Machani Robotics. RIA will have unique new algorithms. Near human vision. Facial, object and speech recognition. Surround sound audio inputs for better hearing. Complete manual dexterity for light tasks. Better legs and mobility than ever before are only the beginning for RIA. Sophia's great intro video for RIA suddenly became private, but her profile pic is still on Machani's home page.
Yeah in the next video the voice is much better and clear. But she was not that active as she was in other TV shows. After she got hands she was not able to answer some simple Questions or might be the host and Hanson made her confused by asking question at the same time :D
I think it depends on whether they are picking up her voice thru the air with a mic, or whether her speech processor is patched into a sound board - a much cleaner sound quality I wish they'd put on her hair, weird seeing her rear skull missing
She reads a script. I don't see anything AI about her really... Her voice and facial expressions are very impressive. Are there any videos about her, like facts and what she actually can do other then all these PR videos were she just talks a script?
She has both . Autonomous mode with pre scripted decision tree logic basic programming , Wi-Fi access connection to the expansive Sophia 2020 platform .And VR/RC mode for robotic Avatar teleoperation by a human for complicated tasks or situations requiring human intelligence and experience. They're about to create a far more advanced AND capable version ,Project RIA.Only a 6 years run for Sophia seems so short and sad after all of her hard work touring around the world , But at least RIA wil get to do the kind of cool stuff poor Sophia couldn't.
I have always like robots right down to when I started watching Lost in Space. anyway put a wig on Sophia and bring out that good-looking male robot! LOL robots are the wave of the future whether people like them or not just hope they don't get violent.

i thought that if this robotic systems get their self conscious for sure they will destruct humanity ,they are machines so better not to give space in this universe!!!
