battle was nice..what´s the problem...?both teams had great moments.Big up.Sebastian(?)has a nice style.....We all should break on music..not just on kick and snare ;)
The fact that there's no winners, makes it even more raw, and in the ghettos where it was even more raw and firey, of course there were no money prizes, you battled for territory and respect, thus the fact that this has no money, prize, should make it even more aggressive
The point of that, is to get in their face, and distract them in every way possible, to rattle your opponent, because again, this is not Broadway just with the point of pleasing the audience's eye, this is bboying, it's not for eye pleasing only, it's for intimidation and having the attitude of a real fight, with dancing
For everyone who's all embarassed or think that the US Bboys are a bunch of jerks, you have to understand that B-Boying started in New York City....a place not exactly known to have the nicest people on earth. When you battle you show your persona and your character....a battle isn't like some friendly ball game...you treat it like its a real fight..
a showcase battle is still a BATTLE...doesn't matter if there are winners or losers...just watch something like who can roast the most and maybe you'l understand....by your logic, boxers in a ring should act nice to each other while they're punching each other out. of course there's a line between whats sporsmenlike and what isn't but come on bro...handshakes and being nice comes after the battle....thats when its all peace...
Yeah, but this is IBE which is a showcase, and as there are NO WINNERS(only whiners like me), then it's not like a typical battle. The USA team was total jerks throughout showing unsportsmenlike conduct even for BATTLE standards, ie. stepping on other teams hats and kicking or throwing them into the crowd, throwing crazy fists when toprocking/uprocking, etc etc blah blah...
Word, BUT I want to see good dancing, and USA was getting in the way of everyones shit by trying to jump in at every possible second and crowding the floor with their fat egos... I don't expect perfect behavior, but to use your BOXING example, I don't expect to see Mike Tyson biting people's ears nor people being punched in the back of the head while they're on the ground... SO THERE!
