Ibn Arabi - Negative Theology 

Ibn Arabi as one the most controversial Sufis who is also well-known because of the notion of wahdat al-wujud (the Unity of Being) puts forward his original thought of negative theology. Ibn Arabi always warns, in many of his books, that God (or al-Haqq in his own term), on one hand, is always transcendent, and no one knows God except God.

On this video, I endeavour to re-present the notion of Ibn Arabi's apophatic in the history of Islamic philosophy and of Sufism, since many Muslims incorrectly consider Ibn Arabi kufr or a heretic or polytheist only by reason of their assumption concerning the notion of wahdat al-wujud ascribed to Ibn Arabi. This video helps clarify many misunderstandings in order to lie wrong accusation at the proper place. God according to Ibn Arabi is totally negative, or full of negativity (tanzih).
