iBought A Used iPhone SE on Amazon! 

Rich, what a great video. I've been there and done that. I bought the SAME Iphone in October of last year. It was my FIRST smartphone and I chose the Iphone because I am a senior and I had been watching your videos. I chose the SE 2020 because of its size, the home button, and the fact it did NOT have face ID. I bought a phone in Excellent condition and did not go with one that had the plan which could replace the battery if it went bad. I paid 149 dollars and could not be more satisfied with the value. I did my research on the seller which is always a wise thing to do with any Amazon purchase. My phone may not have been in as good as condition as the Premium, but to my eye, I couldn't find any fault. The battery has held up very well. I'm not a power user, nor will I ever be, nor am I into the Apple ecosystem other than an Apple TV 4k streaming device, but as you have said so many times, the Iphone is amazing. As long as you keep uploading videos, I'll keep watching.

I have both the original SE and the SE 2020 and love them both. I especially appreciate the form factor of the original SE, such a pity Apple doesn’t offer small phones any more 😢

Thanks, Rich. I’ve been a SE user for a couple of years now and love it. Like you, I couldn’t see spending $1000 for a phone. I just don’t need all the bells and whistles. You did just teach me about the Amazon thing though and for that I am grateful. I’ll check it out when I’m ready for my next iPhone. I sure enjoy all your videos and tutorials. Cheers!

I was lucky I got an iPhone SE three for $200 brand new screen, protector, and case included and it’s 5G and I love it

Love your videos! I bought an SE new and love it. Am glad I paid extra to get the 256 gig so now I don’t have to worry about running out of space. One thing I wondered about was the whole locked vs. unlocked thing. Did you have to get some sort of code or SIM card from your cell phone carrier in order to use the phone? Thanks.

I have the same phone and it is great. I also have the original SE, which is even better! The camera is actually “dumbed down” to keep it from competing with the more expensive models. There are apps which substantially improve it.

If the battery is in good shape then you should be ok with an older used phone as long as you are not a power user.

Love my iPhone SE!

I was happy with my iPhone 7, but I understood that it would not work when the 5G went into effect 3 years ago so I thought I had no choice but to upgrade? I bought the iPhone 12 but would have stayed with my 7. Was I wrong??

Good idea I never buy the latest and greatest I got a 14 and it is fine.

I sure miss the home button. I have an iPhone 13 and my on button doesn’t work like it used to to. When I try to turn it back on it take a good several minutes to come back on. Got an appointment at the Apple Store to check it out. I have an iPad that I use on the daily and it great. Question, I have yahoo mail and when I went to turn on my Mac Airbook to pay some bills and opened up my mail they had changed or updated yahoo mail. Lots and lots of my emails are gone and all my notes disappeared. Has anybody had this happen to them. On my notes I even had emailed me a copy of them and those are gone as well. Any suggestions on how to get them back?

How do you transfer everything from an old iPhone to an iPhone purchased at Amazon? Does one have to let the carrier know that you have a new phone?

I love having a home button I don’t understand why anyone wanted rid of it
