I don’t know if Icom would still have those, maybe check hamfests or try and fabricate a substitute. With 3D printing somebody may be able to make them I would think.
Tim you had an interesting comment as you re-assembled this unit - about meshing the capacitors fully closed and aligning the motor stops on the CCW mechanical limit. Did that turn out to be the proper procedure?
It worked fine. The capacitor stop must tell the motor when it reaches the end of travel and that would make it stop. Fortunately not enough torque to try to break anything by turning it further. Thanks.

hello my friend i am using icom ic 746 i have a problem like this i would be glad if you help me. When the tuner is on in 27mhz fm, the tuner comes on after 10 minutes, then it stops sending, the usb lsb does the same thing when it gets hot, what could be the problem? ta6smt 73
