6:36 did you check your filtered solution for gold? Mixing sulfuric acid with a strong oxidizer such as nitric acid will dissolve trace amounts of gold. A stannous chloride test kit can really come in handy.
One thing bro you had to denox?? How much nitric did you use?? If you start with few mills at a time on heat and with lid on reaction stops put few more mills in until it’s resolved and the more legs you remove before you start you will use less nitric because copper takes a lot of nitric and the more copper you need more liquid to dissolve the salts in but good job we’re is the water for SMB you drop gold you need double solution water???????
ICs shown in this video are generic purpose digital logic and they still have some demand. I believe most of them were working. You could have sold them on eBay instead of destroying. This way you could make much more money and be much more environment friendly.

Moreover, I have salvaged such ICs from obsolete devices and reused for my projects (including ICs which were made in Soviet Union nevertheless I prefer western ones). the guy has gold fever I do some rec panning for gold.. and I have seen it before.. one or two of my friends where actually gonna quit there jobs and pan for gold.. It took me a long time to tell them that they ain't gonna make a living from it.. unless you are one of the very very lucky ones.. He could make money selling them as is but all he sees is what he terms "Free gold"... sad isn't it..
@@tinkmarshino There's a guy I know that does make a living off of gold panning, but it's not a lot. It can be done, but you won't be rich from it. I think you could probably make more money refining gold from chips and scrap jewelry, if you could get them for free or cheap.

En un video estos chips, los tabajas directo al agua regia, alli se disuelven todos los metales, y dices que no son problema, porque puedes limpiar el o. en el segundo refine, o, con acido clorhidrico. este procedimiento funciona tambien para los pines, ? ... quisieras indicarme, el segundo refine, o, como convinar el acido clorhidrico, para que ya no sea problema,' para mejor purificación, gracias.

Instead of additional gas, pump AIR into your fire to create a more intense burn FOR FREE. A covered kiln burns more efficiently than an open topped dish; Reduce inefficiency+costs to make recovery worth doing or you'll spend $35 on IC chips + $8 on gas/acid to get $24 of gold out of them.
I've been doing this for over 5 years. that was one poor recovery. A gram + for every 500 grams is my norm./ 2 to 3 grams per 1000 grams They must be fully incinerated, absolute white ash. I garentee you had gold in solution on the first run and lost it.

Zdravim mam dotaz. Mam relativne velike mnozstvi malych desek se zlaymi piny a jednim SMD IO. vzhledem k velikosti desky ma mpocit ze I cesty n ni jsou zlate je mozne mouzit podobny postup I pro samotne desky nebo je o jen pro IO?
Pěkné video. Je škoda že k videu se nedá přiložit ten smrad z pálení čipů to opravdu stojí za to ;-). Nějakou dobu již řeším zda čipy nezbavovat cínu, mědi z nožek sežráním v HCl či H2SO4. A taky problém je že to co propadne sítem může právě obsahovat úlomky Au. Zkoušel jste to ?
1) Jo, smrad stojí za to. :) 2) Pokud je tam cínu hodně, proháním HCL. Pokud je ho méně, kašlu na to, filtruji přes netkanou textilii - zlato neprojde, kal ano. Tady cín takřka nebyl, čipy jsem odsekával. 3) Zkoušel a množství bylo vysloveně stopové. Ale pozor, toto byly čipy, které nemají zlatá vlákna, ale jen pozlacené nožičky. Pokud bych řešil čipy např. z pamětí DDR, tak tam je zlato naopak v tom, co sítem projde. :)
Přesně. Spíše jsem postupoval (3) jelikož mám víc BGA a DDR čipů, ale nejsem si jistý jestli to dělám dobře. Prach totiž hodně smáčí a pak naopak je těžké dostat ven kapalinu s Au,Pt, ... .
Mozem sa opytat preco sa pouziva kombinovane sirova spolu s dusicnou? Aky to ma vplyv na reakciu v tomto pripade? Viem ze 98% sirova v kombinacii s dusicnou sa pouziva na odstriebrenie postriebrenych Cu kontaktov lebo sirova nenapada Cu... Ale v tomto pripade IO, sa da vysvetlit preco? Dakujem. So it is 65% H2SO4, 35% HNO3 than? This is to dissolve the base metals including the magnetic stuff? Very interesting process for iron rich materials, will have to try a batch soon.

Zdravím vás. Chcem sa opýtať môže my už teraz keď je chladnejšie pôsobiť ochladenie nejako na reakcie? Po každé keď sa snažím z LK vyzrážať AU ,vyzráža sa my nejaká kryštalická šedá latka a AU nikde . Pred vyzrážanim už prefiltrovaného roztoku mi ciničity test ukazuje na hnedo a po vyzrážani ostáva papier bieli a AU nieje. Kde môžem robiť chybu poraďte. Dakujem.

@@BohumilGraman I’m not making videos yet. But , seeing unnecessary process wasting time and money of people just trying to make some living , maybe I’ll think about it. I can tell you few things might help you. 1= nitric acid will solve all your problems. Shred , brake or crush any E-waste components ; just put them in nitric acid. Do not use too much water. Maybe none. Nitric acid will get rid of the most except; ceramic , wood ,plastic , glass and steel. 2= you can still sell your gold without purification. Hundreds more to tell but just these two will give you ideas.
@@hankaan7542 I normally use HNO3 - check out my videos. Unfortunately, these chips contained an amount of iron that is soluble in HNO3 only at high temperatures. When I shot this video, I didn't know how to use H2SO4 yet. Gold can be sold in any purity, but personally I feel good when it is as pure as possible. :)
@@hankaan7542 you try fitting 1kg of chips in a beaker, even crushed. What a dumb comment man. You are going to lecture him but don't realize why people incinerate chips? Not to mention that incineration helps the tin to melt and be removed. Metastannic acid is a bitch to deal with. Also by using sulphuric acid he can remove the iron before AR so he has a cleaner solution to work with.
What a wast of working IC's.. You would have made more money selling the working parts. Some of the parts are worth any where from$.50 to $30 per IC. Im sure he just dump the acid on the ground when he was done.

Yes and I have learned over the Years after learning just about EVERY Lesson I could. And I am sure someone,somewhere is brewing up a new sneakier than ever trick for me as we speak! But there is one thing I know....Gold. Pure Gold is the most Beautiful Noble Metal there is. If You look at a Button of Pure Gold, The first thing you will notice is the "Waves" that circle the top of the Button. And if You want it to Show off it's true ,Inner beauty, Just Drop a pinch or two of Potassium Nitrate on the top of the "Button" while your melting it. Then, just about when it is time to Stop Melting that button. It don't hurt to drop a pinch of Your Favorite Flux on it. If done right, It will shine like My Teeth used to! LOL
Some of those ICs looked pretty old and could have been sold and used to repair vintage gear. Much better than ruining your health with this kinda stuff. And more money probably.
