@@user-kx3ij4fn5c해외가 많다는거 니가 겪어봤냐?내가 진짜 궁금해서 외국 경연 방송 한참 찾아본적있다. 결론은 한국인이 노래잘하는거 맞다.고음은 필리핀인들이 잘하는 비중이 높고 대신 비슷한 음색이 많아서 기계적인 느낌이고 노래를 평균적으로 잘하는건 한국인이 잘하더라. 니도 궁금하면 찾아봐. 찾기전에 한가지만 알려준다면 한국이 노래경연프로그램이 외국으로 수출많이 했는데 똑같이 못하는게 꽤 있더라.왜그런지 아냐?노래방이 지천으로 널린게 한국,일본,필리핀?정도. 애초에 노래많이 부르고 즐기는 민족특성인거지. 일본이 그럼 왜 환경이 좋아도 두각을 못나타내냐?이건 전문가에게 물어봐도 모른다. 내가 보고 결론내린게 언어적 특성이 있다. 설명하면 길어서 그만한다.😅
it's really a crazy twist.. just in case for people who didn't watch the show, she is the maknae writer of the show and was a last minute replacement for someone who was sick that couldn't be on the show. she acted funny and all to be eliminated quickly but she actually got to the last selection LOL. imo she was the best singer on this episode.. it's really a pity that she couldn't record the duet with baek jiyoung..

It's seriously so unfair that people with voices like her aren't able to show it and become successful because of looks(and many other things but mainly this) and have to stay hidden in offices while the idols in Korea most of them don't even have half of her talent and can't even hit a proper note....i really just hope from the bottom of my heart for her to fight for it and achieve many things and become successful... come on companies give her a contract ,she's so worth it
DorkyKwon Yul I get your point somewhat but you are vastly underestimating idols. In an idol group of let's say 5-6 members only about 2 are chosen for their vocals. The rest are chosen for other attributes like dancing, visuals, charisma, etc. Idol music is not all about vocals, it's about performance as well. There are tons of other genres of music in Korea where singing talent is cherished more. The main vocal of an idol group would blow this girl away if you put them in a studio or on stage in front of people.
I actually don't think she wants to be a singer in the first place. In fact, she was even forced to take part and had no choice but to agree cause she's the 'Maknae' as written on the staff's board. She didn't even take it seriously in the first 2 segments. And as you can see in the beginning, she had to take in a really deep breathe before singing which shows that she's very nervous. No doubt her vocals are crazy good but if she's not interested in becoming a singer, let's not push it.

i dont know whats with koreans voices. deym i feel like im going to cry a river everytime they sing . they always pour their hearts in it. thats melting the soul of anyone who hears it Y_Y the fact that i dont understand what they were saying
Nubajez206 So what your trying to say is "looks and dance are more important"?! If thats your point, than your wrong! Cause being an idol means you have a voice and have a great personality! Cause like why would a singer be called a singer, if they cant sing? If your saying "looks and dance are more important" than thats not an idol! Dont you think its more like a model? Am not saying that a idol needs a voice, all am saying is looks dont matter or dance, the important thing is you should have a great personality! And please! If you judge a person by its looks than you better stop! Cause you dont the person that your judging has a talent! Cause trust me! Ive seen idols who are not pretty or handsome but they have a talent that no else has! (Sorry that it was long! And for bad english)
If she ever sing a sad melody Kdrama ost, it's gonna be a hit ! 💖 her voice is just so mesmerizing. I swear even without knowing what she sing, the emotions carried out is strong enough to make my tears fall. Keep going ! 💪🏻

I love this show because it proves that you can't judge a person based on their looks. Most of the "vocal experts" judge the contestants based on the structure of their mouths and fixate on their physical features/movements to decipher whether the contestant is tone-deaf or not, and most of the time, they're proven wrong (this was most evident in the case of Reply 1988 singer). And in the end, it teaches you that you can't judge a book by its cover. Talent comes in different packages. And this show proves it. Also, god, the amount of talent being uncovered in this show is just outstanding.
I keep coming back to after seeing almost all episodes. Her notes are so stable and full of emotion. This is a real twist, still can't believe she is working as one of the backstage instead of being a singer. OST singer material is here!
Her voice is very stable. Couldn't understand their conversations but judging from the comments and the reactions, maybe they misjudged her by apprearance. But a very very stable voice.
The moment when you realized that you are hoping for the skilled singers to be eliminated to have their solo stage than to win and have a duet with the guest artist. :D
